Wow, that was pretty gripping.
I don't want to give anything away but definitely see The Wrestler. I saw it with three non-wrestling fan friends and they had a very similar strong reaction to it despite knowing little about wrestling or the backstage atmosphere. The movie takes you on quite a journey, says a great deal about the business and how some people use it to deal with their lives, and you're left thinking about it after its over.

Just saw a trailer for a new movie called Chocolate coming out. Looks pretty BA.. I love some of the taglines during the trailer, too.

Has anybody heard of "Repo!: The Genetic Opera"?
Everything I've read about it sounds absolutely absurdly awesome, the premise being that with organ failures becoming a global crisis, a company steps up and figures out how to grow working replacements... but if you miss a payment, the repo man comes and takes it back.
I don't even know what to think about it, but I'm intrigued.

Don't know a thing about it, myself, but if you watch the ads for the soon-to-be-released-on-DVD Saw V, it's mentioned at the end in a "If you like this movie, check out _______!" kind of way.

Street Fighter IV Animated Movie
Nope, not the Legend of Chun Li, but the animated movie that came with the collector's edition of Street Fighter IV. It was an ok movie, not great and also not bad. A bit too much drama and not enough fighting. The voice actors for the characters in the movie are the same as the ones in the game, which was pretty neat.
+ Semi HLA between C. Viper and Cammy + Probably better than the Legend of Chun Li + Gives you the sense of something big is going to happen
- What they did to Cammy - Too much drama - Not enough fighting - Some characters randomly showing up - Some characters that randomly show up, only show up for 5 seconds

coughYou know. In case anyone cared that DEADPOOL IS GETTING HIS OWN GODDAMNED MOVIE. Y'know for all the nerd raging about Deadpool, I really liked how they handled him in the Wolverine movie. I liked the Wolverine movie, too.

Everything about Deadpool was awesome. Then Ryan Reynolds got put in the outfit and the character went to hell.

I saw it today. Never been into Star Trek at all, it was more of a spur of the moment "wanna go to the movies?" kinda deal.
It was awesome. I don't really know what else to say. It was just a good movie, and I felt like it was worth my $8.

Yeah, I definitely plan on seeing it again when I get paid. I really really liked it, and I've been a life-long Trek fan. I'm a fan, but just not hardcore enough of a fan to be all "OMG THIS MOVIE IS LAME CUZ TEH TRANSPORTER EFFECT LOOKS DIFFERENT!" or "THE BRIDGE LOOKS LIKE APPLE MADE IT SO IT SUCKS CUZ APPLE SUCKS!"
Cuz... Cuz that's just dumb.
Also, as an lol, my mom is a fan of Trek and a fan of Heroes (despite itself), and so I got her one of the new Spock figures for Mother's Day. It was worth the chuckle.
