It was, and it was FREE with the Fight Network. It's a godamned shame that that network isn't in the States, people.

First-round knockout, as Fedor Emelianenko retains his title of BADDEST MAN ON THE PLANET.

From Live Audio Wrestling, I wonder how this one will pan out? ;) Hasn't Sylvia talked a LOT of shit about our great King Fedor? I mean, let's consider that for a minute. Poor Tim Sylvia.

K-1 World GP from Yokohama Arena VERY early this morning (here, anyway). n event featuring Mark Hunt vs. Semmy Schilt. Schilt is basically unbeatable in K-1, and I think he's won the tournament like five times now (beating Mr. Perfect Ernesto Hoost's record). Semi isn't the world's most exciting fighter to watch, but you do have to marvel at the power of this dude when you look at his kill record! This fight has some pretty cool spots, and the ending is pretty sweet! Keep in mind that Mark Hunt is about 5'10", while Semmy is 6'11"... Here's the fight! Now after you watch this (or not), check out the vids of Mark Hunt versus CroCop, or Jerome Le Banner. He's a tough dude, but Jesus, who's going to stop Schilt?

Wow, that's the first tiem I've seen Schilt fight. I've heard about him a lot. He's like the third K1 legend after Ernesto Hoost and Peter Aerts' reign (Aerts who I initially discovered when playing FPD and then realized later that he was a legend!). Schilt is a mountain out there. And Hunt is one of my favorite fighters but damn....that's one huge size mismatch. I loved the ending, I totally didn't see that coming ;D

Those kicks are hilarious. They look like the most basic, poking kicks and they send people down so hard ;D And man, the end of the Sergei fight with him sitting on Schilt's face was brutal

Cool shit, eh? Schilt is a bad mofo, but pretty much everyone is the same height laying on their backs! Kharitonov's decimation of Schilt is one fight that stands out as one of the most brutal I've seen. I've always thought Kharitonov would fit in perfectly in the UFC, and I really wanted to see him fight Arlovski, but I think Kharitonov has been tanking a bit over the past couple of years, and I don't even know if he's been fighting at all lately.
PS: Fight Network wins again. Tomorrow, they're showing Frank Shamrock and Bas Rutten in Pancrase! I seriously need a way to zap this shit onto a DVD! ;D

So I got to watch a 1 hour Pride special on MSG network. It was like 5 or 6 matches in Pride's history. A few of them were short "KO in first round" matches but then they showed the Fedor/Cro Cop match. DAMN, I forgot how awesome that match was. I mean, i remembered...but my memory didn't do it justice, especially the first round. That was just an insanely incredible match Other matches: Sakuraba vs. Royler (I think) Gracie. Funny as hell watching Saku have his way with him. Gilbert Yvel vs. Gary Goodridge: Timer: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, HIGH KICK KO! Hilarious ;D Hendo vs. Chonan: Timer: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 Punch Flurry KO. There was at least one more competitive fight in there also, but my mind is blanking since it was like an hour ago that I watched it. But damn, a nice 1 hour block of full Pride matches ;D Edit: Wait, I think the other fight had Gomi in it but I don't remember the opponent. Gomi won by decision after he and his opponent started doing some weird martial arts kick display against each other ;D Oh shit, I totally forgot there was ANOTHER Sakuraba fight also! Against Rampage! WOW....peeps need to see this fight. It was incredible. Rampage was throwing Saku all over the place but Saku stayed in it the whole time and actually won by RNC submission. This was one of the most exciting fights I've ever seen
