2 more weeks, I can't wait even though it's just going to be Super Street Fighter 4 again.
I'm also going to trade in my DSi ($75) towards the 3DS.

Played the 3DS for about 5-10 minutes at Best Buy today. Very nice device. I wasn't really THAT impressed with the 3D, though. Maybe it was just Pilotwings I wasn't impressed with. I dunno. Of course, in all fairness, I've never really been that crazy about 3D in general. It's neat, and all, but I'm more excited about having a more powerful Nintendo handheld, than I am about having a handheld that can display 3D images.

I don't really care about the 3D and I think it's just a gimmick like the Kinect and the PS Move. What sold me on the 3DS are the games lined up for it even though it's just a handful right now. I plan to turn down all the 3D effects to a minimum if I can.

3D is sweet, but for the long term, I'll play without 3D.

Played Pilotwings again today, and I think I'm coming around on the 3D a little bit. Was actually kinda neat. I have a feeling that, when I get a 3DS unit of my own to play around with in the comfort of my own home, the effect will "wow" me a bit more; it's kind of annoying having to stand around to play with the demo unit, in a store with different lighting than the environment I'm used to playing in. It doesn't help that the demo unit's top screen is covered in fingerprints (why are people touching the top screen? *sigh*), which probably screws with the effect a little.

I hate seeing my 3DS already collecting dust though I still play Street Fighter from time to time, so I impulse bought Ghost Recon: Shadow Wars on the 3DS.
I'd figure I'll get this game over everything else since it's similar to Advance Wars and Fire Emblem which I love on the DS/GBA. I didn't play too far into the game, but it isn't too bad. If you like Advance Wars, Fire Emblem, Valkyria Chronicles, Zone of the Enders: The Fist of Mars, or Metal Gear Acid, you should probably check it out.

So, uh... No Leon or Ada in RE5: Mercenaries? Really?
Or, they're hidden and Capcom is playing coy. Which I buy, cuz they can't do DLC for 3DS games.

An athletic-minded prosecutor named Jacques Portsman, and a sleepy-headed ditz of a flight attendant named Cammy Meele.
God, I love Ace Attorney.

The 3DS is finally getting a game this weekend. The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D on Sunday. Never played OOT before, can't wait.
Resident Evil: The Mercenaries 3D the week after. I'll end up getting this, but not sure what I am expecting from this game. I didn't put too much time playing Mercenaries in Resident Evil 4 and 5.

Definitely getting OoT (would you believe it if I said I've never played OoT before? Er, actually, I played about halfway through it on that GCN bonus disk that came with the Wind Waker pre-order, but I pretty much dropped it when WW came out). I'm unsure about Mercenaries, though. I'd love to have a fun RE action game to play, but I've never touched the Mercenaries modes in RE4 or 5, so I have virtually no idea how it plays at all. The only thing I know is that it's timed, and I'm not a huge fan of things that are timed. I like playing my games at my own pace, I'd probably be a bit annoyed with a game where I constantly have to try to beat the clock.
