I should have the Miles Edgeworth game coming in the l prolly Monday, via Amazon; can't wait to play it. That's weird about the saving; though, one of my annoyances with White Knight Chronicles, on the PS3, is that it also takes an unusual amount of time to save the file. Maybe long save times are going to be the new "in" thing in video games? lol

I just beat the second case and the game is getting good. I don't remember switching my suspects so many times since Damon Gant and Ema Skye from the SL-9 case from the first Phoenix Wright.
There was also a testimony on par with the Parrot. It was great!

Just beat Ace Attorney Investigations and I liked it as much as the other Phoenix Wright/Apollo Justice games.
Although the story isn't related to any of the other games in any way, I would suggest playing all the other games first to get all the references and cameos.

Any Monster Rancher fans here at The Dump? Looks like a DS iteration is finally making its way to the US in late March or early April (provided it doesn't get delayed). It won't be quite the same without the disc-based generation of monsters, but it'll still be Monster Rancher. I plan on getting it, although, I was always TERRIBLE at those games. My monsters would always die before I could even reach A rank, so I could never get any further than that. :/

And how are we going to do this without discs? Word pieces again? I got a pixie from the phrase fucknugget, trufax. /nod

From what I understand, there are two ways to create a monster; you have the option of drawing a picture on a grid, or speaking a word or phrase into the DS microphone.

I grabbed copies of Tecmo Bowl and Ninja Gaiden this weekend for $9.00 each! Tecmo Bowl is pretty awesome, but Ninja Gaiden on the DS is THE SHIT! Team Ninja can make all the games for the DS that they want!!! ;D
Now I'm even more stoked for Team Ninja's take on Metroid!

Awesome - I've heard great things about Tecmo Bowl on DS! For $9, that's an amazing price! I downloaded the Ninja Gaiden demo on DS once and liked it a lot. The fighting via stylus works surprisingly well

Yeah, they were $9.00 each (used), in like new condition, and the game manuals were in pristine shape, and didn't even smell like take out food, pot, or smokes! ;D
So many people rant about Tecmo Bowl, I figured I'd give it a try, and it's a blast! Especially the little gamebreaker power-ups, they add a sense of tension, because you'll never get too far ahead before the CPU busts out a huge play and punts your ego straight back into the cheap seats!
Ninja Gaiden has really blown me away! I can't believe they did all of THAT in a DS game! And yeah, the stylus control really does work well! I wasn't a believer till I actually tried it!

Yeah, that's fucking lame. Those assholes are pumping out DS versions like crazy.
WTF happened to how gaming USED to be? You got a console, and some games, you played the damned thing for five or six years, then something new came out. No hard drives, no "elite" models, no online subscription fees, no pricks charging $10 for demos, no nickle and diming gamers with DLC...
DAMN IT! All casual gamers must go jump into a DEEP PIT, and take your precious EA with you!

...and take your precious EA with you! HEY. HEY! Not until I have Dead Space 2.

Yo, I'd have to jump into that pit these days, too! I've been a closet EA whore, what with the Army of Two and Battlefield: Bad Company addiction I have. I feel like I'm coming out of an alcohol-fueled, three month bender haze lately, realizing that I've been whoring myself to the enemy, and to cheesy shit like the two EA titles I mentioned. I started playing Ninja Gaiden 2 again last night, it felt like a purge, like I'm trying to dry out, my senses numbed, my reflexes dulled by months of cheesy EA shooters, I may as well have been doing surgery on myself, Ninja Gaiden is disproportionally brutal in its difficulty from what I remember from my first play through till now. The quick fix and easy satisfaction of cheap, platinum hit 360 games has left me a hollow shell of the gamer I once was, but I will recover!
PS: Screw 3DS!

Picked up Picross 3D, since it was only twenty bucks, and I'm getting really addicted to it.
