It's basically every old-school JRPG ever, just with a cool setting and YOU CAN FLY AN AIRSHIP AROUND LONDON AND NEW YORK!.

So much of that appeals to me but eh...just too overloaded now and I just know a game with random battles will do me in. I'd love to just have a world I can explore and fight when/where I want.

Eh, it's just a bit bigger, for them old folks that apparently get a kick out of the DS. I'll stick with my smaller, slimmer model, thanks.

I think Nintendo's only misstep here is not anticipating that this bigger DS would be interested to people outside it's target audience. There are a lot of younger people who'd like a bigger screen as well. So I wonder how long Nintendo had this planned and if they could have announced the bigger screen DSi with the regular DSi when that was announced. Otherwise, I don't see this as an upgrade, just an alternative.

I couldn't possibly care less. Why? DS' graphics suck (3D graphics, at least), and all bigger screens will do is make that more apparant to guys like us. You know; guys that don't read large-print books.

So, new pre-release trailer for Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks just revealed that the "spirit" in "Spirit Tracks" is none other than Zelda herself! So, that'll be fun. Honestly, that does make me wanna play the game a bit more, if you can believe it.

Anyone plan to pick up the recently released Phantasy Star 0? I'll prolly get it before the year is over; maybe if you guys buy it, we could do some co-op.

I... I can't. I won't.
I'm... I'm a recovering Phantasy Star Online addict. I can't do it. I just can't do it!

I've never played a Phantasy Star game other than the PSP version. Pretty fun, although I've never played multi-player.

I have. Back on the Dreamcast, when Phantasy Star Online was released, I was hooked. They got me good. They got me real good. I would come home from school at around 4 pm, go to my room and turn the game on and play until I fell asleep at the controller at around maybe 5 am. And then get up and go to school at 7 am. I'd usually sleep at school, I was so hooked. haha And then when Phantasy Star Online version 2.0 came out, which was basically the expansion pack for it, they implemented a subscription fee. I wound up paying for myself and for a friend, just so she could keep playing the game with me. It was really bad. haha It got to the point sometimes where, I wouldn't even be playing the actual game; I'd just go from server to server and hang out in the lobbies, and chill with friends. It took, honestly, it took me going to Basic Training to get me off of the game. Complete cold turkey. Despite that, I bought Phantasy Star Online Episodes I & II when it came out for GameCube, and even Phantasy Star Online Episode III: C.A.R.D. Revolution, which was a completely different game. But because they were on GameCube, they didn't exactly have tons and tons of people to play with, so it wasn't the same and my interest died out quick. The temptation to pick it up is great, but, I've so far managed to avoid Star Wars Galaxies, World of Warcraft, and I'm trying greatly to avoid picking up Star Trek Online and Star Wars: The Old Republic when they come out, and having Phantasy Star Zer0 out is seriously cramping my ability to avoid getting entirely hooked on another dang MMO. CURSE YOU FOR EVEN BRINGING IT UP!!! >

Got Ace Attorney Investigations: Miles Edgeworth today. Everything is good so far except for the saving. Not sure why it's taking so long to save compared to the other Phoenix Wright and Apollo Justice games.
