Haha, yeah, I almost forgot about it, then I realized last week how soon it was coming out, so I made sure to pre-order.

Damnit. I still haven't played Portrait of Ruin! D: I still haven't beaten Portrait of Ruin. I like it a lot but its somewhat mazelike ("Castletroid" or whatever they call it) and so whenever I take a little break, i completely lose my place and bearings

Weird translation changes aside (Why the FUCK did they replace Mystics with Fiends?) Chrono Trigger will stay in my DS for a long, long time.

So, Lock's Quest? Awesome. Love it, love it, LOVE IT. I haven't been able to put it down. In fact, as I'm typing this, I'm planning out defensive strategies in my head for my next campaign. This one's a double-recommend.

So I got MOON, a new FPS for the DS. I'm liking it so far. It looks nice, good play control (tho there's no jump, or reload, which is weird), and the story is horribly fucked-up. Plus, it uses the rumble pack(!) and it just has a really heavy Metroid vibe to it - post-boss escapes included.

Dunno if you guys noticed, but Nintendo started doing the Club Nintendo thang over here, so, if you have some [Nintendo-published] Wii and/or DS games and still have all the packaging including that "REGISTER YOUR SOFTWARE NOW!" card, go over and get some points so you can has cool free stuff.

I've been playing around on Club Nintendo for a couple weeks now... Yanno what pisses me off? I DO have a big stack of those inserts with the code on them to register the game, but I can't find them! >_< I never entered them in when I got them... I still have the inserts from games like Metroid Prime 3, Mario Galaxy, Pokemon Diamond, etc. I hope I didn't throw them out...

I was under the impression from reading an article that any games you purchased prior to Club Nintendo's formation weren't going to be counted? Is that incorrect? Can I still get "credits" for Galaxy, Smash, etc? And my DS stuff? I remember going through the code entering on the "MyNintendo" site only for the database to lose my info TWICE. That pretty much caused me to stop dealing with it. But i hear you can win some decent free things on Club Nintendo so it may be worth re-entering the info if they accept it.

There are still a ton of Wii/DS games that'll get you points, despite coming out before Club Nintendo (B.C.N., cuz I like the joke) made it over here. I got points for Galaxy, Paper, Wii Fit, Smash, Pokemon, and a few others. They actually have a list on their FAQ of games released B.C.N.. But, since you entered the stuff on MyNintendo, you shouldn't have to re-enter the codes; MyNintendo became Club Nintendo, so all you'll have to do is fill out the survey after transferring your MyNintendo account to a Club Nintendo account.
They do have some pretty cool stuff, too. Like a new Game & Watch Collection for DS (only 800 points!) plus DS game cases, trading cards - even a super-old-school Nintendo throwback; a deck of Hanafuda cards. Pretty nifty.

Cool, thanks for the info there. Its worth me filling it out. Since MyNintendo lost my codes, I prob WILL have to re-fill it out but thats ok. All my stuff is still in the boxes and within reach. There really are some nice freebies they offer. Stylus sets, games, etc. That Game&Watch collection is cool

Sooooooooooooo.................. Who's jumpin' on the DSi bandwagon? :) Man, I still play GBA games... the only thing that the DSi has over my DS Lite is that it'll probably have a working L Trigger.
