So, anyone lookin' for a new DS? Cuz I was digging through the new marketing that goes up on the 11th, and saw that GameStop's gonna have a nice little bundle with a limited edition DS lite. The above special Palkia and Dialga DS Lite will come with a matching case, a Pokémon Mystery Dungeon-themed episode of the cartoon, a grovile poster and a t-shirt. And all for the regular DS asking price of $129.99. It's just a shame that our box for it won't be anywhere near as cool as Japan's.

Started Ninja Gaiden: Dragon Sword. Few references to Ninja Gaiden Black/Sigma and visiting and fighting the same fiends from Ninja Gaiden Black/Sigma. Cool.

Hey, moto - any notice of an "in-store" date for that Pokeymans DS?
Nobody at my regular store could give me a solid answer, but they're... they're nice, but not knowledgeable.

No. No frickin' clue. And I'm ticked. Though, we did get the shirts in today, and they're pretty nifty. Black shirt, with silver Dialga on the front and gold Palkia on the back.

I wound up finding it at Walmart?! I thought it was Gamestop exclusive, but I guess just the shirt is.
Anyway, the McGirly has a replacement for her busted ass DS now! (that'll teach us to buy used DSeseses)

So, I just saw the new trailer for Disgaea DS. While the dialog scenes are happening on the bottom screen, there's commentary from a disgruntled Prinny on the top screen. Totally awesome and hilarious.

Already got it pre-ordered and am trying to finish off World Ends With You so that it doesn't just get put into the "To Beat" stack.

Strategy/tactics RPG (Final Fantasy Tactics/Ogre Tactics-style combat) with a hilarious story and very few limitations. Want to level up all your characters to level 9999? Go ahead! Want to kill your fire mage and bring her back as an ice mage? Go for it - not only will she learn ice spells, but she'll keep her fire spells, too! And then you can do it again to make her a wind mage! Y'ever had a really awesome sword, but thought it could've been stronger? Then level it up! Each item is its own world, filled with enemies to fight and even special creatures that can level up weapons, armor, and items further!
It's a dizzying game, filled with so much to do that you could play it for 1,000 hours, and still not be done with it.

What "new" formula? Something new in Disgaea? Lies.
Oh! Almost forgot! Disgaea DS also makes the first time that you can use the single most requested character in the series; Pleinar!
