Sigh. I don't think Super Dodgeball is online Wifi enabled. I got it last night and played it tonight. While there is the local multiplayer (DS to DS), there doesn't appear to be "Friend Code" multiplayer That's seriously too bad too cause the game itself is REALLY fun. There's an EDIT mode now, no joke. They even beat Fire Pro in one respect: Heads and faces are separate! (There are 155 of them each). So there's a pretty decent appearance mode, LOL. There's also a stat mode too that comes in handy for giving variety to your teams and players. Like 6-8 stats and you have limited points so you have to make TOUGH choices. But its really too bad here cause with the depth of team/player making and the pure fun of the game itself, it would have been GOLDEN if this was friend code enabled. But I don't see any place to do that and I think it just local. So um, unless we all take a few months off and move to the same location...within 20 feet of each other, i think the Dump Dodgeball league may not happen (Though with the decent edit mode, we could always SIM matches, LOL No cpu logic though.) I still do recommend the game for longtime fans of the series

So yeah.. after a really long break, I've beaten Sonic Rush Adventures.
Decent game on par with the first Sonic game for the DS, Sonic Rush. Game a bit too easy, but still pretty fun though the game does have it nuisances. As the name implies, Rush, you'll spend a lot of your time rushing through the levels (this game is fast), but with a couple of annoyingly placed monsters, and a sudden change of pace, you'll find yourself annoyed. Still a decent game and worth.
And
Don't know if anybody here noticed, but Trauma Center: Under the Knife 2 is out for the DS. Not much new here, keeping all the fundamentals from the first game adding in new minor features. One thing about this game, it is very text heavy. I'm skimming through the game, fast forwarding through all the text and it is still taking a bit to get to the actual operation. This game is a little more forgiving than the first with a difficulty option and easy is ending up to be very easy. For those who gave up the first game due to difficulty, but liked it, this game is for you. For those who liked the first anyway, get it.

This just in, Super Dodge Ball Brawlers is a waste of money. I agree with everything OG said about the game, but I'll be far more critical. The item system is pointless, the tournaments lead nowhere, and the brawl game is fucking lame. I can't believe I'm saying this about my beloved Super Dodge Ball, but the game is truly a waste of cash. Online play might have saved it, but even then, I'm not too sure. Skip this bitch, get cooking mama instead.

Yeah, I haven't played it since that first night. I don't even mind the items. (they can be turned off I think) What angers me is that they were so concerned about the items and NOT putting multiplayer in. Heck, same goes for the "create a player" which is just unnecessary without other people to really play! I don't think every competitive game needs multiplayer to survive. It didn't used to and still doesn't. BUT if you aren't gonna give multiplayer, you HAVE to have enough depth in the single player experience and this game really doesn't do that. Hard mode is super easy and the tournament to win is like 5 teams to beat. NO replay value in this game without a strong versus mode. A multiplayer versus mode online would have made this one of the most fun games of 2008. Instead its a sad afterthought

Yeah, no replay whatsoever. I mean, come on, the old NES game at least let you play the spooky, mirror demon team after you beat the all powerful Russians. Aksys could have at least let us take on a team made up of Double Dragon characters, or a River City Ransom team or some shit. Can you imagine having green Abobo firing dodgeballs and boulders at you?! That has both win and awesome all over it! I don't know who dropped the (dodge) ball this time, but they really fucked up.

Beat Kirby: Squeak Squad, fun, but a disappointing ending.

Has anybody given Civilization: Revolution a go for the DS? I'm not sure I can afford to have such a powerfully addictive game disc in the 360, honestly.

Looking for new DS games to play even though I already have a couple that I should really beat, but I'll go give Civilization: Revolution a whirl.

I'm on it! Side note: tried Civilization for about 10 minutes, didn't know what was going on and the frame rate was kind of sluggish so I quit. Maybe, just maybe, I'll give it another shot later, but Ninja Gaiden DS stocks are rising.

There's a downloadable demo on the Live store - go to Games Store -> Demos -> All Demos... I played the SHIT out of the demo, honestly. I have a lot of stuff on my plate lately, though, so I can't afford to have a video game EAT MY EVERY WAKING MOMENT for a while. So, yeah. I liked it.

NGDS is okay and all, but it's painfully short. Like, "Wow, I feel like I got mugged for paying more than $30 for this" painful.

Last few games that I've beat we're all short or atleast I've beaten them in a week or less. Metal Gear Solid 4, Devil May Cry 4, Sonic Rush Adventure, Kirby: Squeak Squad... so Ninja Gaiden would definitely fit. Plus, I'm paying $0 for it anyways. R4 ftw. Just beat Trauma Center: Under the Knife 2 so put that on the list also. Easy was a bit too easy.
