I think it looks very interesting. I've seen video, read reviews, and my interest has been piqued since before it was even announced for a release over here. I just don't feel like spending $40 on a DS game, so I'll be waiting to play it until it comes in used.

I picked up TWEWY at GameCrazy today (gotta love their high trade-in prices man; after trading in a few games and getting TWEWY, I STILL have about $30 left in credit from them), but I haven't had the time to play it (or even open the case...) yet. Hopefully I'll play it a bit later tonight and tomorrow, and I can give some of my early impressions on it.

Alright, so I've played TWEWY a bit; I really like the art style, and I'm very interested to see how the story develops. The battle system is a little disorienting, but I think I'm starting to get the hang of it. At this point, I only have a few complaints, and they're pretty minor. For one, the n character is kind of annoying, to me; I don't really care much for his "emo" attitude. I also think the use of swear words is kind of silly; it seems like they overdo it in the dialogue, and it kind of makes me roll my eyes, because it gives me the impression SE is trying to say "Wow! Look how mature this game is! They say 'hell' and 'ass' a lot! Aren't we cool?!". But overall, this game is pretty neat, and again, I can't wait to see what kind of twists and turns the story takes. Should be pretty interesting. (On an entirely different note, is it me, or have the cases for DS games recently taken a lot more force to open? I first noticed it with AW: DoR, then with Apollo Justice, and now with TWEWY. Older games used to pop open fairly easily, but with newer games, I have to pull'em so hard, it almost feels like I'll break the case... @_@)

NIS' "Soul Nomad" has a character who (by himself) says shit upwards of thirty times in game.
Which is unique in that the game is rated T.

And I have to open a lot of those bastards at work.

I'm not sure if anyone has tried out the Wii Nintendo channel, but you can download DS demos on it for free. Very quick download speed as well So tonight I FINALLY got to try Phoenix Wright for the first time. Or well, Apollo Justice. I can definitely see the draw of the game, I had some fun with the first test/practice case Also, I tried the Iron man demo. Eh. Not that impressive unfortunately.

So... SEGA hasn't given up on us yet! And to prove it, they're partnering with Platinum Games to bring us new stuff. Oh, what, what's that? Who is Platinum Games and why should you care? Well, remember Seed? The company made up of the founders of a little company named "Clover Studios"? Well, Seed got together with another development crew and formed Platinum Games. That's why should you care. Also, because their first game together is going to be a DS spacefaring adventure/adventure/RPG called Infinite Line. Sounds pretty awesome. In addition to that, new CastleVania!!1 And as if that wasn't enough, it seems that Konami has finally had it with Harmonix, Red Octane, EA, Blizzard-Activision, and all them other biters; Konami strikes back with Rock Revolution!

Wow. I've never seen such an exquisitely distilled summary of all of the things I dislike about RPGs/JRPGs before, and I enjoyed it thoroughly! I thought I was just being lazy because I didn't like sitting through all of that shitty dialogue and being forced to talk to some angsty, gloomy, androgynous prick before being able to advance in a game, but apparently I'm not alone!

General Celes: "Lock e's quest is better, but continue about your business." Anyway, as a relevant non-efed addition to this thread, I'm hoping to grab the new Super Dodgeball game for DS in the next few days and will give you guys a heads-up on it once I get it

Look how mature this game is! They say 'hell' and 'ass' a lot! Aren't we cool?!". are you a person under the age of 25? if not, you should know that nearly everyone who isn't 30 curses a fucking shitload, even in normal conversation. in a way, it kind of is a rib at the kids' immaturity as a whole - kids don't have the respect or concern to censor their language when they're not worried about making a wrong impression. I think it's spot on for the subject matter, much as GTA's subject matter often brings harsher language into the equation. if you are under 25, you must be a square. or sheltered. or deaf. or just have like, social graces and well-mannered friends. of course, I could just have lost any idea of concepts like "proper speech", and I just don't care when I see it. something like that. wha? new super dodgeball? HAHA! I was just coming here to see if anyone mentioned that there's a NEW FUCKING SUPER DODGEBALL (BRAWLERS) game out or not! This sucker had better be on a shelf when I go out later, or some sucker is getting a pulsating, glowing dodgeball traveling at mach five smashed into their greasy red bull and dorito eating face. PS: How did the domestic release of this game sneak under Dump-radar? I think we have a security breach. Initiate an indigo alert state, I smell the work of insurgents and/or deviant scumbags!

Yeah there had been some discussion about Super Dodgeball here in the past and it was already high up on my "to buy" list for the past few months but I hadn't looked at that list for a bit and totally forgot the release was this week until a few days ago!! One of those "I know the game was coming out soon" but I forgot that it was finally "soon" time ;D I need to go get it in the next few days. I hear there is some type of multiplayer but I'm not sure if its local wifi or internets friend code enabled. I think its friend code though cause I remember us discussing future Dump Dodgeball fun
