Heh, well, that's the thing, many of the Wii games I have are things I don't want to let go of. The game I'd be willing to let go of, though, is Super Paper Mario, but everything else is stuff I haven't finished yet. I HAD RE: UC, and would've been willing to let that go, but I already traded that in towards No More Heroes a while back. :/

So, Super Turrican on VC today. Anyone else semi-jacked about this? I remember playing Turrican WAY back in the day, and I'm wondering if I picked this bitch up, if it would be as disappointing as some of the other "Oh shit! I loved that game way back when"s that I've picked up. Worth a try, I guess! OG, didn't you say you liked Super Turrican?

Oh shit!! I may have to download this sucker! I actually played Turrican on TurboExpress. So I'm not exactly sure if thats the same version as the one on VC now. I don't know HOW many Turricans there were but the one I played was one of the best side-scrollers EVER, IMO. It had a Metroid feel but with its own unique style. Quality game

I remember the music being pretty decent for some reason, too, and that was back in the day of such stunning video game musical masterpieces as NES PRO WRESTLING! You're right about the Metroid feel, Turrican certainly had that, but it was a lot brighter. I think I might check this bitch out, too!

I'm almost ashamed to say this, but I haven't actually bought any VC games yet. I'm not sure if its just due to laziness or FPR/e-feds taking all my time. Also, a lot of the games I've wanted to play I still HAVE in some form so maybe that's it. I mean, honestly, Turrican is sitting about 2 feet away from me as is a working Turboexpress. I guess having it on a bigger screen with a better controller is kinda cool though.
And yeah, I remember that game having excellent music. I think OCRemix has some remixes of it too.

So yo, any of y'all still playing No More Heroes? God of War PSP comes out tomorrow, and some other piece of shit is coming out for the Wii next week, and I'm wondering if I should still consider shelling out the dosh for NMH, or if it's like shitty gum that tastes fantastic for about a minute, then begins to taste like chewing the insole of a dock worker's boot? Opinions?

Well, you really can't go wrong with either Brawl or Heroes. Seriously. But Brawl is a game that you probably won't get tired of. Try NMH, beat it, and then get SSBB.

It looks hot. I've never been in love with the series but the multiplayer element here may be too tempting for me to resist. also, wow, gotta say the soundtrack sounds pretty awesome SMG-quality!

I might be able to get Brawl, if some games I'm willing to let go of can get me enough credit at Game Crazy, but I ain't going to a midnight release. So, the store'll prolly be sold out on Sunday because of the midnight sale, so I'll have to wait for them to get in more shipments. :\ It's kinda funny (well, more sad, really...), because I won't even really be able to play Brawl multiplayer, at least not until I get me some high speed Internets. Whenever that may be... ¬_¬

The soundtrack for this game is going to be an odd beast... There are so many composers involved doing rearrangements of the original tunes, it'd be hard NOT to be interested! I admittedly only DL'ed the Pokemon songs, but this, this sound track definitely warrants a purchase.
