There's a Sega Bass Fishing coming out for the Wii. Yeah, but that's BASS... The most boring fish in the world. Fishing is a lot like baseball, boring as FUCK on TV, and marginally more fun to actually participate in (alcohol improves every situation mentioned above...). DEEP SEA fishing for marlins, tuna, and coelacanths... THAT'S the shit! I loved the DC Marine Fishing game, the bass one was okay, but if I'm going to virtual fish, I'd better either be a little pointy-eared prick in a green hat, or hauling sharks out of the ocean while some douchebag commentator coaches me! PS: Believe it or not, I am kinda looking forward to the bass game, too. I just hope there's more shit in the water than BASS! It's tough to get excited about using my vid time to chase around a shitty little lake for a two pound fish.

Holy crap. I wish I'd have heard of this earlier! It's called Battle of the Bands (previously called Band Mashups), and it's a music game for the Wii that features 30 songs done in five different styles; rock, funk/hip-hop, country western, Mariachi, and marching band. So, you'll get to hear songs like Feel Good Inc and Spoonman in ways you probably never imagined. It's a two-player game where each player chooses a style, and the style that's doing better is played louder until the end of the song, or until one player fails out. On the second page of that article is a video of Insane in the Brain done as rock vs Mariachi. It's freakin' hilarious and totally cool-looking. [edit:] Also, Commodore 64 games coming to the Virtual Console!

Just wanted to add my support that a Virtua On game would be amazing and PERFECT with the Wiimote/Nunchuck combination... And a mecha-suit attachment ;D

And one of the coolest aspects of this game? We can L each other our abominations, and share our personally created hells amongst one another! I'm on board!

Blast Works. It's a side-scrolling shooter where you can - if you so choose - create everything for the game. Your fighter, enemies, stages, etc. You can even set it up so that your fighter can merge with other objects in the levels to grow larger and become more destructive.

If you're fighting someone on Brawl and they're using Lucario, watch out! Lucario has an Aura ability that raises his attack when his damage increases!

*Sigh* I don't have the spare cash to get Brawl any time soon, and I managed to find a deal at Gamestop where if you trade in two Wii games (from a specific list), you can get Brawl for $10. Problem is, I only have one game that's on that list that I'd be willing to trade in... >_<

That list is a fuck, anyway. I saw the deal, and, some of that stuff is an easy way to get completely ripped off.
If you trade in two Wii games, you'll get an extra $10 in store credit. Plus, putting it toward SSBB should get you an extra 10-20%, plus another 10% if you have that damned card.
