I might be able to get Brawl, if some games I'm willing to let go of can get me enough credit at Game Crazy, but I ain't going to a midnight release. So, the store'll prolly be sold out on Sunday because of the midnight sale, so I'll have to wait for them to get in more shipments. :\ It's kinda funny (well, more sad, really...), because I won't even really be able to play Brawl multiplayer, at least not until I get me some high speed Internets. Whenever that may be... ¬_¬ Making sure you have a copy at the store... Isn't that typically why one pre-orders? Oh, wait. You said GameCrazy? Yeah. Good luck. Personally, I never try to do business with places that are going bankrupt and deciding things like customer satisfaction and warranties are expendable.

I didn't think to pre-order before. In fact, I don't think I've pre-ordered a game (excluding FPR) in quite some time. I just figure most of the time, I can get the game without much worry. Honestly, I never really care about WHEN I get the game, but once the release date arrives, I, like, get sucked into the hype and want it ASAP.
And Game Crazy is going bankrupt? How'd you find that out? That means they'll be going out of business, right? Huh. I still have some store credit there, I better use it before they close down, then...

Well, it's been common knowledge for awhile now. Hell, my store has a GameCrazy nearby, and their manager and some of their employees shop at our store and even joke about how they're basically captaining a sinking ship.

Hmm, more screens up for Baroque. This game looks pretty cool so far. Every time I look at it, I have memories of Phantom Dust and Shadow Hearts, mixed in with a bit of Persona. I wonder what this bitch will turn out like? EDIT Oh yeah, screens are at Gamespot...

I was supposed to be running the tournament at my store. But it turns out that this is my drill weekend, so that's a no-go.

Who's going out at midnight to buy Brawl? Midnight when? I think EB here won't open until the forest rangers have had time to scare off the polar bears. The only midnight game releases we've had up here have been for hayloz three and World of Nerdcraft (there were pictures of people standing outside in the middle of the night dressed as pirates and shit, awesome!). I wish I could get mine at midnight, but I'll be so friggin' busy next week, I don't even think the store I preordered at will hold my copy (I won't be able to pick it up till Tuesday or Wednesday night... )

Who's going out at midnight to buy Brawl? If Walmart has it, I will be picking mine up at lunch time - about 1:30 AM. Or, I'll punch someone at my midnight break and take their copy.

Nah, I could never do the whole midnight thing. As bad as this sounds (considering I'm not that old...), I'm usually asleep by midnight. XD Plus, I didn't pre-order, so... I'm hoping to be able to go to Game Crazy during the day tomorrow and be able to pick it up, though. Although, the weather's pretty bad here in Ohio, so maybe they'll cancel the midnight launches around me, anyway. *shrugs*

Well, most stores in Ohio canceled their Midnight Madness, anyway. What with the two feet of snow and all.

Hmm, I just got a call from the EB I ordered mine from, and apparently, they'll be in tomorrow when the store opens at noon. Too bad I've got shit to do for the next few days and won't be able to pick it up till likely Wednesday...

Heh, so I had to struggle through the snow earlier today to go to the nearest Wal-Mart, because, well, I needed to buy some food. I happened to walk by the electronics area, and they had a whole bunch of actual copies of Brawl in a glass display, along with a "timer" thing that said "__ days until launch", except there was no number. So I kinda thought about it for a second, and even though I shouldn't be throwing around fifty bucks at the moment, I asked if they were selling the game already, but they said not until midnight... So, with any luck, maybe it'll stop snowing by tomorrow, and the roads'll be cleared and I can try Game Crazy. Honestly, I haven't even called around to see if any midnight launches have been cancelled, since I don't plan on going to one either way, but if you say so, moto, I believe ya.
