Good luck, dude! Side note, I stoped in at Toys r Us today, and the Wii games were cleaned out (one copy of Excite Truck, and a pile of Trauma Centre... They need to pimp that game.), as were all of the peripherals (save for one Wii wheel controller). On the other hand, the PS3 games were fully stocked, as were the extras. Interesting... If you check out eBay ppl are managing to turn a profit selling Wiimote's and Nunchuk cotrollers. Makes me wonder if that should be my next business adventure.

After a three hour wait at Best Buy this morning, my friends and I FINALLY got our own Wiis. ^_^ Waiting in line actually wasn't that bad. I kinda went into it expecting to walk away annoyed and with a hell of a headache, from annoying people, but it was more relaxed, and the other people there were actually pretty cool.
Stupidly, we didn't bring any folding chairs... So, for two hours, we stood in line until they passed out the vouchers (I, specifically, was number 35, out of 61 people to get a Wii today), then we went back in our car to wait another hour for the store to open. I couldn't help but laugh at the people that showed up fifteen minutes prior to the store opening, expecting to get a Wii. XD
Anyway, I wasn't able to pick up a game, ya know, because I only had the money set aside for the console. My friends, on the other hand, grabbed games like Madden, Excite Truck, and Red Steel (even after I told them the game supposedly isn't as good as a casual might think from looking at it). They wanted Call of Duty 3, but that wasn't anywhere on the shelves (not just, like, sold out, but not even a spot for it). None of them grabbed Zelda, though, because they're all pretty much Nintendo noobs, but eh.
While I STILL haven't had a chance to get mine up and running yet (I had to catch some sleep, as this whole last week has made me pretty exhausted, then, I've had a pretty busy day altogether, so...), I'm just glad it's finally over. No more tracking every single website out there looking for one that's taking orders or even back-orders... No having to even CONTEMPLATE camping out at stores far in advance. I can finally relax again. ^_^
Edit: Oh, so does this make me the first person here to get one? Heh heh.

Edit: Oh, so does this make me the first person here to get one? Heh heh. I think Duff beat you, but you're still a bastard in my eyes for picking one up before me, if it makes you feel any better. ^__^

Not even. You're still a bastard for having one though. Heh, I meant close to being the first one to having one here, not being close to when he got his. :P I've only played each Wii Sports game a couple of times each, but I'm really liking the Boxing and Bowling games the most. Tennis is pretty cool, too, and Baseball's alright, but I'm indifferent to the Golf game. I've also been tinkering around with those Mii things, a lot. So far, from what I've heard from my friends that also got their Wiis, yesterday, they love Red Steel and Madden, and they're still looking for Call of Duty 3. I, meanwhile, won't be able to get a game for it for another 3-4 weeks. :( No Zelda for me for a while... Edit: Oh! Oh! I forgot to report some of the funny stuff that happened while waiting in line! Like, after they handed out the tickets, and people started to go back to their cars to wait for the store to open, two guys started taking their "furniture" back to their car, and they had taken out the seats of their minivan to use to sit in. XD Or the guy who was so far back in line, who just said "Ah, hell, I'm last, anyway, might as well go to the front and count how many people are in line." Then, some guy was taking a video camera and going down the line, taping us, for whatever reason. Didn't work for any news place, he was just some random guy. o_O But the best had to be when this old guy pulled up to the line in his truck a half hour before the store opened, opened his window, looked the line up and down, then (pulling a Ron Simmons!) went "... DAMN!", before speeding off. XD That was great...

Red Steel is really only fun if you like PC FPS style games. I don't so I thought it was boring. Excite Truck is touchy but a fun way to introduce us to a racing game using the Wiimote.

Yeah, I never really had any interest in Red Steel, myself. All the poor reviews (and other negative media attention) didn't really help its case for me, any. I'm considering Excite Truck as a second game to buy, but I dunno... I don't really play a lot of driving games, so...
As for other possible second titles to buy, I've been highly considering Trauma Center, but people make the difficult sound scary. I've never been good with games that get that difficult; only game I ever devoted the practice to, to get better in, in terms of difficulty is Guitar Hero. So, I dunno if I wanna pick up Trauma Center when I get the cash. Other than that, I don't know what else is out now for the Wii that's actually worth a play. Rayman might be fun, and Monkey Ball looks alright, I guess (though, I've never played a Monkey Ball game...).
