Anyone happen to know when GameCrazy opens tomorrow? Will it be regular hours (what are GC's regular hours, anyway?) or will it be special hours, because it's Thanksgiving? I'm sure some of you'll tell me how much GameCrazy sucks, but I got an ad that they're open tomorrow, meaning they might be selling the Wii. If so, maybe I could hook up with my friends tomorrow morning and buy our systems. (b'-')b

I'm not surprised they'll be open, sadly. I seem to remember working a Thanksgiving or two myself. Bastards. Special hours, yeah. Probably their Sunday hours, which are probably 11-6. You might wanna grab a thick jacket and a thermos of java, and get there an hour or so early, tho, cuz if they're selling the new hawtness, there'll be a crowd thick with other people preparing to storm the place before you get the chance to.
But, if you're not sure when they open, you could always, like, call the store or whatever.

Well, I planned to call if I could't find the hours anywhere else. Edit: So, the next few days, my friends and I are gonna be Wii hunting, it looks like. XD We're gonna try GameCrazy tomorrow, after we find out when it opens, then if we have no luck, we *might* head out to Wal-Mart/ GameStop on Friday morning. I also heard somewhere that Best Buy might be holding their stock of Wiis until Sunday, so, if all else fails, we'll hit there, Sunday morning. Otherwise, we'll have to wait another week. One thing I haven't thought of is, there's a local K-Mart near me that no one really goes to, much... I was thinking about going there later today, and seeing if they have any Wiis in stock... There've been so many times where I hunt down new games, sold out, like, everywhere, then I feel really stupid when I resort to going to the nearby K-Mart, where they have a full stock of what I'm looking for. @_@ Ah, well, we'll see. Now ya'll know what I'll be doing all weekend.

Well, K-Mart was a no-go. Doesn't look like they even got a first shipment in, like when it first came out. There's not even an area, yet, in their games section for the Wii.
I'm kinda having second thoughts about trying GameCrazy tomorrow, too. I mean, the ad I got from them doesn't say they'll have Wiis for sale tomorrow, it just says "Open Thanksgiving Day!" right below the Wii section of the ad... I would assume they'll be holding their stocks for Black Friday, too, but I don't know, what with them being open tomorrow. I dunno, I don't know if it'd be worth it or not to try going there tomorrow...

Dude, word of advice, play some of the shit you already have, wait out some hardware updates, and pick up any Wii games you're interested in until all of this new console-induced zombification of consumers has subsided. I was shocked to wake up on the morning of the seventeenth to find that my PS2 and games hadn't all turned into pumpkins like I thought they were supposed to. I was equally shocked, though notably disappointed, to wake up on the morning of the nineteenth to find that my GCN hadn't turned into a giant mushroom. I know this is probably hard to believe, but there will still be Wii's and even P$3's around in the new year.

EXACTLY! Spread the Wii love, dude - pick up a game here, a controller there, maybe some Wii Points, and then you've already got a rough set up for when you get your Wii. Just assume you won't get it until after January, and you'll be good because anything before that, and you might need to hand down an ass whupping, coz bitches gots to know that that's YOUR Nintendo Wii, dawg.
/me is street, yo.

XD Yeah, well, anyone, I've just been tagging along with some friends to try and find one. I'm not that concerned with getting one right away, but if they manage to find some, hell, I'd like to be there to pick one up. If I don't find one this weekend, I'll prolly just buy Zelda, and wait until I can get another $50 back for my Wii savings. I don't really need points, cuz, ya know, I got dial-up, so I wouldn't be able to download anything reasonably. And, yeah, I'd be playing older games, if I had any left. I already pretty much beat everything, except for Okami. I mean, I'm on the last set of bosses in KH2, but that's pretty close to the end. But I've been using my free time to play Guitar Hero. So it all works out.

Is anyone even still reading my posts? XD Anyway, we're setting out tomorrow at about 4-4:30 for a Wal-Mart that's only a couple minutes away from where I live. If there's not any Wiis by the time we can get to them, we're gonna try a GameStop that's next door to Wal-Mart. Hopefully, since this is, like, a super center-type thing, with other electronic stores, and such around, those places would get a bigger crowd than a dinky little GameStop. But, eh, we'll see. If we still get nothing, then we'll wait til Sunday and go to Best Buy (who, for whatever reason, is holding their stock of Wiis until Sunday). And, if Best Buy's out, well, I'm just gonna buy Zelda, and stop looking for a Wii. I'm kinda tired of bouncing between stores with them.

I SAW ONE! A Wii ad, that is. Strictly Wii, no game pimpin'. Two Yakuza lookin' dudes in suits hoping into a Smart car in Wii colours, driving down a rural looking road, with a funky biwa riff in the background! Nice!
Wait, why the hell am I excited about a TV ad? I'M ONE OF THEM! GHHHHAAAAAAAaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!11!1

My unbridled LUST for a potential Kenshin game has just been further sparked by this happening If someone attaches a samurai sword (bonus if the blade is on the wrong side), then I will officially enter Deathcon 4: "Foaming at the mouth while screaming out Kenshin phrases" (yea, Jyou, in yoda-speak!)

A guy I know that works at my nearest Best Buy told me they're going to have at least 60 Wiis tomorrow. He can't hold any for us, but I would THINK that'd be enough for me and my other friends to get our own consoles. I'm hoping their won't be a big crowd lining up, and I don't see why there would be; I mean, the console already launched, and it's not like it's Black Friday. We'll still prolly go out an hour or two before the store opens, but eh.

Good luck, dude!
Side note, I stoped in at Toys r Us today, and the Wii games were cleaned out (one copy of Excite Truck, and a pile of Trauma Centre... They need to pimp that game.), as were all of the peripherals (save for one Wii wheel controller). On the other hand, the PS3 games were fully stocked, as were the extras. Interesting...
