Screw that then!
Whats the point in standing in line for hours for a system if you can't bring it home and make a sandwich with it!? Crazy sandwich-less Wii fans...what DO they do with that system to pass the time!?

I only got into the first level of Red Steel, but it seriously takes some getting used to. I am sure that anyone who is into PC FPS games will have a much easier time getting the hang of it than I do, but as it stands right now I am considering trading it is for Excite Truck.

So, I got an e- l from those RadioShack bastards, saying they're cancelling my order and refunding my cash. >_< They didn't tell me why, but I can only assume they weren't supposed to pre-sell it, like they did. This means if I want a Wii in the near future, I'll have to spend the next few weekends hunting it down (seriously, for a system that got such a big release, in terms of consoles made available, why is it that, like, NO store has it?). In some GOOD Wii related news (for me, anyway), I recently overheard some people I hang out with talking about games. Now, many of these people are rabid Sony/ MicroSoft fans, mind you. As I listen in, I find out they're actually psyched about the Wii! Two of them got it at a midnight releasing at a local Best Buy (which is apparently sold out, now >_<), already, but the rest are likely to buy one, when they get the chance. I was shocked when I found out these guys are actually interested in the console. I dunno what thrills me more, the fact that Nintendo might not be the laughing stock of this gen, the fact that even casuals (at least, the ones I know, anyway) are becoming less ignorant to the fact that "ZOMG GR8 GR4FFIX!!!1!!1!!!" isn't the be all, end all, of games, or the fact that I'm finally, FINALLY, going to have people I can play multiplayer with.

Um... cuz they still only get in a set amount of product at a time, and that product gets bought by people wanting it, and that leaves the store with no product? Or something? I know the GameStop near me is getting some in on Friday. But, that's this Friday, and that ain't happenin'.

Just wanted to mention that Reggie wants Guitar Hero on the Wii. And what Reggie wants, Reggie gets.

Well if that's the case, Reggie better start wanting some Fire Pro, God of War (don't bother commenting), and an NES Pro Wrestling sequel done by AKI.

I mean, I'm not annoyed that I'm not getting the Wii sooner, I'm just annoyed that they cancel the order for no reason, instead of just waiting for a new shipment. Doesn't make sense to me.

Reggie also better want a Kenshin-themed sword game for the Wii! I f'n swear I would go so crazy playing a game like that I'd evolve, Pokemon style, into SHIN Orochi Geese!

What's real funny here is, I didn't even know RadioShack sold video games. But, really, it could just be that they won't be getting more shipments in. Or, that they suck and you shouldn't buy your video games at a store that has an entire wall section devoted to phone cords. ^_^

Well, I'm not defending RadioShack. It's just that I had gotten a tip this past Saturday that they were taking pre-orders for the Wii on their site, so I got on, and managed to get a pre-order. Hell, I didn't even know they sold games. But I figured a pre-order's a pre-order all the same. Anyway, a few of those people I know that are into the Wii, now, called me up and wanted to know if I wanted to tag along and check some stores for the Wii, a few hours ago. I went along, since, well, I have nothing better to do, but, as I expected we found nothing. Our last stop was a Wal-Mart; prior to going, we called them, and asked if they had any for sale, and they told us they did. Hell, they even gave us a specific number of units they had. We get there, and we're told they haven't gotten any new shipments in, since Sunday. What the hell is with stores lying on the phone? This is EXACTLY what happened to me when I tried to get FF12 for $38 at Circuit City. I mean, what purpose does it serve to tell us they have it in stock, when they don't? Bah. We did find out that this particular Wal-Mart will be opening at 5 AM on (Black) Friday, and that they're likely to have Wiis then. We're talking about going there that morning, since we all have off from work that day, but we haven't decided on anything. I'd rather not wake up early, then have to stand around with a bunch of antsy shoppers, waiting for the store to open, but I figure if we don't get our Wiis on Friday, we won't get them at all this weekend, because Black Friday will have pretty much whiped out this next shipment. And, if I go with those guys, 'least I'll have some one to hang out with, waiting for the store to open. But, eh, I dunno, we haven't decided on anything. And, no, I don't know why I keep giving these little updates. I'm sure you guys don't care much.
