I'm still barely holding off on the desire to get a Wii. The only thing holding me back is the reasoning I gave for refunding my PS3 reservation; it's just one more damn thing I'd have to move. It makes perfect sense to hold off on getting it. For one, the Virtual Console is still updating, give it another few months to reach TOTALLY AWESOME levels of AWESOME. Two, I think it was Jon who put this TOTALLY AWESOME idea out there: Buy a game or two for it as it goes, then get it when you're ready. You've got games, BEFORE HAND, which makes it (financially!) smarter... instead of paying $400 or so on games, controllers AND your system, its easier for most to take a $50 hit here or there.

I've kinda already taken that approach with the PSP. I've got a game ( WipEout Pure because I am, and always will be, a WipEout junkie (I even owned the game that the old WipEout team made for XBox, tho didn't play the PS2 WipEout because I'd heard it was icky-poo)) and a carrying case for it (the Logitech Street case, which is kinda neat, though combersome even for a PSP case). I'm just not sure what Wii games I'd want right yet. I do want to try Legend of Zelda on Wii, just to check it out, even though I've got it paid for on GameCube. Trauma Center looks neat, but I still haven't played it on DS. Excite Truck was kinda fun, but felt way too lose. Metroid Corruption and Super Smash Bros. BRAWL don't come out for quite some time yet. Ah, well. I guess Wii'll see. ... Sorry. I had to.

Trauma Center looks neat, but I still haven't played it on DS. YOU WANT. YOU WANT HARD. YOU WANT WITH THE FIERY PASSION OF PHOENIX WRIGHT JACKING IT ONTO HIS COMPUTER TO HAVE EMMA MISTAKENLY TASTE TEST IT LATER. THATS HOW FUCKING BAD YOU WANT THIS GAME.

Damn, son. Calm down. I'll get to it when I'm done with MegaMan ZX, Yoshi's Island DS, Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow, Castlevania: Portrait of Ruin, and Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass, okay?

Damn, son. Calm down. I'll get to it when I'm done with MegaMan ZX, Yoshi's Island DS, Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow, Castlevania: Portrait of Ruin, and Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass, okay? I'm just saying. That's how good it is. Its the kind of game you can put down for a while, then come back to with the same fiery intensity from before. AND ITS HARD. Not Hard as in "Wow, that's a lot!" but hard as in "I WILL NEUTER YOUR BALLS BY REMOVING THEM FROM YOUR RECTUM FORCEFULLY" that we just don't see in modern games not preceeded with "Gradius" in the title.

Well, my Wii should be arriving in about a week, or two. :\ I pre-ordered on RadioShack, this past Saturday, because they had put up a pre-order thing, but what I heard is, they weren't supposed to do that; they'll be honoring their pre-orders, it just won't be, like, in the next few days. Ah, well, 'least I'll have it in the near future. I couldn't buy any other games for it, though *coughZELDAcough*, because I had to use the cash I had saved up for that to finish off some holiday shopping. But, my birthdays in about a month, and I have a relative who's very generous to me (cash-wise) on the holidays, so (b'-')b

I just found out that Trauma Center: Second Opinion is a... cough "Wii-make" of the DS game. So, I might not need to pick up Under the Knife after all.

Well, then. Congrats. You now own a fancy GameCube. Rather that than a fancy $600 George Foreman grill.

I'm watching my friend play Altered Beast right now. He also downloaded Zelda and Sim City. Nintendo is supposed to update every Monday with new games. And as of this typing he has the choice of buying...
Donkey Kong F-Zero Soccer Solomon's Key Sonic The Hedgehog Super Mario 64 Wario's Woods

I just found out that Trauma Center: Second Opinion is a... cough "Wii-make" of the DS game. So, I might not need to pick up Under the Knife after all. Yeah, I read that yesterday, too. The article mentioned that it is basically the old game with one or two new chapters, another difficulty mode (like it's needed...), and some other shit. Basically, the article stated that if you've played the shit out of the DS version, you'll still find lots to <3 about the Wii version, so that's cool! Hmm, virtual console... I wonder how long it will be before Fire Pro shows up on it? ;D
