It's funny you mention that. Yesterday I was in EB games and I saw a $30 package that includes both Red Steel and ...wait for it...No More Heroes! I bought it and FINALLY own No More Heroes! I played it last night and was totally blown away. This game is incredible and I love the pro wrestling influence throughout. The sword slicing is pretty cool too as is the general style of the game Looking forward to giving Red Steel a try too

Pfft. That's pretty standard fare, and I don't think any of us should be shocked that the guys responsible for Katamari Damacy are making weird games.
So, the new issue of play came to my house, and the cover article is on Bayonetta. Damn, damn, damn that game just sounds better every time I see it. Hell, Kotaku had a video up, 20-some minutes of the director talking about the third trailer (which only lasted 90 seconds) and going into a lot of the stuff that was quickly mentioned in that trailer - everything from characters to weapons to gameplay stuff like switching gear sets to the panther transformation. Good stuff.

While I am not moved by this announcement, I know some of my co-workers will be.

Anyone have a towel? Seriously though, I wonder if this means it's coming on the US Wii. I'd be pissed if this didn't go to to US Wii and it was another fighting game I miss out on until I can afford to buy a small country.

K, crunch time.
Any of you still using your Wii? Aside from Animal Crossing, I haven't played anything on mine for months. I'm really disappointed in the online connectivity of the Wii, and i'm kind of bummed that I don't care about it at all. So, I just thought I'd ask my fellow Dumpers if they can think of any games that might save the console for me. I have SPM and SM Galaxy (haven't finished either of them), and haven't played LoZ TP or Metroid Prime 3. Can you lot think of anything I'm missing that might help me put together some good reasons to keep this thing, and not trade it in towards a PS3, or donate it to a children's hospital or something? SOS!!!

Trauma Center and Trauma Center: New Blood? Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn? Resident Evil 4? Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicles? Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of the New World? Okami? Punch Out? Tatsunoko vs Capcom? The Conduit? Resident Evil: The Darkside Chronicles?
I haven't touched the Wii in a while either.
