AWESOME! I hated this prick playing this game on my friend's SNES back in the day, and my hatred was renewed when Nintendo added SPO to Fight Night round 2 for the GCN. If I can actually manage to get my Wii to connect to the intrawebs this weekend, I'll D/L this bitch and feed Fei Long Lil' Mac's jock strap hot off the end of his boxing glove!
Thanks again! ;D

Don't you mean... " Silent Hill Wii-make"?!?!?!?!? >:O I just hope those assholes that ruined Silent Hill with Origins and Homecoming stay far, far fucking away from this. I DON'T WANNA USE MY WIIMOTE TO BASH FREAKY MONSTERS IN THE HEAD! I HAVE Half-Life FOR THAT!!1 Actually, it's supposed to have removed combat all together. I'm still skeptical, because it was announced yesterday... but, the screen shots look good... and I'm intrigued that after all this time, they've just decided "GOD our combat sucks ass. Fuck it, let's just skip that shit." Put me down at tentatively excited about this one, because I can imagine a lot of really cool uses of wiimote/nunchuck for puzzle solving... Like, that scene from the movie with the chick reaching into the guy's mouth to pull out the key; and he's all bound with barbed wire and stuff? I imagine PLAYING THAT and realize I'm a sick bastard, but also that there's a lot of opportunity for awesome here.

Yo, anyone still playing Animal Crossing for the Wii? Someone I know ditched her Wii for a PS3, and I inherited a copy. I'm too scared to open it, my DS one almost turned me into a shut-in!...

I still have it, but, it hasn't seen the inside of a Wii since Madworld came out.
Which you fuckers still need to buy. That game's only sold 200,000 copies. Fucking shameful.

I have Animal Crossing, but I haven't played it in a while; problem is, I just don't get enough time with my Wii these days as I'd like to. :/ My town is probably filled with weeds, countless villagers have probably moved out and in, etc. I always liked the concept of the game, but nowadays, when I'm not finding the time to play it on a regular basis, it's harder to properly enjoy.
As for MadWorld, I have that, too, but again, just haven't had enough time to get on my Wii very much. I'm trying to finish RE4 before I finish RE5, but I'm having trouble with that because I keep wanting to get farther and farther in 5. @_@ Along with that, I also have a backlog that still includes NMH, MP3: C, and Super Mario Galaxy, all of which I'm fairly far in but haven't finished, yet. :/ On the bright side, I've been catching up with my DS backlog; I finally finished Phantom Hourglass, and I'm working my way through Apollo Justice. I still have to finish Advance Wars: DoR, but I've been stuck on level, I think, 16 for AGES now. Seriously, for some reason, that level is fucking impossible for me, and it's pissing me off. >_<

Yeah, AC needs a bit of a time commitment, part of the reason I'm scarred to start it up. The next two weeks are going to be PACKED with shit for me, but after that, things will clear off a bit. Barred Knife Jaws and greasy ol' Nook, here I come ;D
Screw RE4, if you're into RE5, finish it. You can finish 4 whenever the hell you want. That sounds like MGS for me. I didn't want to play MGS3 until I finished MGS2, so I ended up not really ever playing either game. Same thing with Twilight Princess, I thought, in my strange way of thinking, that I needed to finish Wind Waker and OoT before I could play TP. It's a waste of time, just play the games you want to, and forget about the other stuff till you have time. Nice thing about games is that they don't have an expiry date (unless you're like me, and have such a backlog that your new systems aren't backward compatible with your old games...).
PS: How was Phantom Hourglass? That's another one I want to finish in a few weeks when I have something resembling free time again. I'm pretty far into the game, but I have to try to figure out where I left off again!

PS: How was Phantom Hourglass? That's another one I want to finish in a few weeks when I have something resembling free time again. I'm pretty far into the game, but I have to try to figure out where I left off again! Overall, pretty good. Sailing is done in a MUCH better way than Wind Waker, although I don't really care for the concept of "sea-bound" Zelda, in general. The boss fights were cool, but none of the dungeons are really all that memorable, to me. My biggest complaint with the game is the Temple of the Ocean King; it was SO annoying having to repeatedly venture into the temple and have basically go through the entire thing every single time (except for one or two warp points that would start you off further on into the dungeon), and it didn't help matters that you were stuck with a time limit. I'm looking forward to the new Zelda DS game, but I wish they'd stop tacking on gimmicks to it; sure, the whole "boat" and "train" stuff can potentially be a breath of fresh air, but to be honest, I prefer Zeldas that don't rely on that kind of thing, yanno? The boat thing was fine, but this train thing seems kinda... silly. It's almost getting like newer Sonic games; nowadays, Sega can't seem to make a "traditional" Sonic title, they always force some kind of gimmick on the franchise, whether it's giving Shadow guns and other melee weapons, or turning Sonic into a werewolf.

Yeah, aside from Link's engineer outfit (it looks dope! I love it!), the train thing seems kind of odd. You can't fault N for trying new things, and who knows, maybe it will rock! But yeah, a traditional style Zelda game for the DS would be pretty tight (in the vein of an Ocarina of Time, or Link to the Past), sans gimmicks.

Feh. Feh, I say. Sailing on a boat/riding on a train/riding on a horse. Same thing. Bleh.
And, Zelda is a pretty heavily-gimmicked franchise. Light/Dark worlds? Magic instruments? Magic masks? Evil world with animal transformations? Companion versions of a game offering slightly different experiences? GIMMICKS.

I think we should send Brian Lee to talk to the Nintendo brass about trains, sailing, masks, motion control, etc.

The things you listed in that second part just seemed to work in the concept of the game; I didn't even hate the concept of sailing, that didn't feel TOO different, it was just a change of scenery from the usual forests and whatnot of old Zelda games, to a more sea-based one. The train thing, though... I dunno; I don't necessarily hate that, either, it just seems silly, like they're grasping at straws. I'd like to see something more like Minish Cap, where there's no gimmicky mode of transportation, but with a look more similar to Phantom Hourglass.

The slippery slide into being an Animal Crossing shut-in has started. Why did I open this portal to hell once again?... I got stung in the face FOUR TIMES last night. I guess I don't remember how to catch an angry swarm of bees anymore.
