LMAO! That's AWESOME! (I forgot how cool No More Heroes is!)
Suda 51 needs to get off of his ass and make a friggin' wrestling game already! He obviously has a super-chub for puro, so he needs to get on it and make a game! I loved the tiger suplexes and the GERMANS!!!!

That was an awesome trailer I look forward to that game. I still have to beat NMH 1 (just got it last month) but man I gotta support the Suda love on this game. Any game that combines such stylistic elements (not at all cookie cutter like so many other games) along with lightsabers AND german suplexes is my kind of game ;D And Jon in terms of the Wii, I'm not really playing anything too different from you but I pace it out with my PS2 and am very happy with what's in my Wii library now. Considering my backload at least, i'm not bored. I'm just going through Super Paper Mario and loving it along with NMH. I still play Smash Brothers and Mario Kart periodically. I also enjoy some of the WiiWare games. I did hear the new Punch-Out was good, maybe you want to give that a try? I'm hoping that Wii Motion Plus opens the door to more games but i'm a bit worried that it will instead have the result of companies having less confidence in Nintendo for not getting it right at the start. That said, I'm seriously hoping we get some hotness announced for E3. Cause really, the majority of the games I'm playing now are from 2008. I'm not sure I even bought a 2009 released Disc based Wii game - just VC and WiiWare. We'll know more in the next week with E3 though.

Yeah, NMH does deserve a finish, as does SPM and Mario Galaxy. I'm worried that Punch Out is the same game I have on VC with upgraded graphics, or I'd be all over it. I don't understand Wii Motion Plus, nor do I really care about it, but if it somehow adds to the lineup of games I'd be interested in playing, I'll give it a look.
I remember LOVING SSBB, but the last time I tried to play it, I shut it off after a couple of rounds. Is my 360 shooting my head full of subliminal Nintendo hate messages? I seriously wonder about that on a regular basis!

The last Wii game I bought was Harvest Moon back in November when I got snagged it on the cheap from the day after Thanksgiving sale at Walmart.
No More Heroes 2 is a definite buy for me; simply because it's got style out the ass, and was a damn fun game too.
I wish more people got that for the Wii - otherwise it's Dead Space Extraction, then, ignoring the Nintendo box until Earthbound hits the VC.

I seriously wonder about that on a regular basis! I go in streaks of loving SSBB and ignoring it. Same with Mario Kart. Mario Galaxy is worth beating just to see the ending. The last board is REALLY hard but Bowser himself is incredibly easy. He's not much different then fighting him in previous boards. But there are some fun boards later on so it's worth completing. I'm getting through SPM very gradually - i don't want to rush it cause i like spending time with the humor of the game. It's just really fun and it's one of the few games that I can say I'm actively still playing even though i play it twice a month. But it's alwasy on my mind and just a matter of when I feel like it. I think it's one of my favorite games on the Wii and in the last few years. Wii Motion Plus is really just going to be a Wiimote add on peripheral that allows for better motion control. This, in turn, will be worked into certain games to allow more precision control. This is tailor made for sword games and surgery games ;D I'm rooting for the former a bit more Again though - I happen to think that late 2008 and early 2009 was really disappointing for the Wii in terms of new releases. (I got my fill over the last year with older games so I'm still satisfied) but I think E3 will be very big for the Wii Oh also, I forgot to second Tatsunoku vs. Capcom as a BIG DEAL

I don't see how Tatsunoku vs. Capcom will work on the Wii. I'm stoked about the game, but how are you supposed to do anything in terms of control? Do you swoosh QCF and hit a button, or what? Mechanically, how will a player pull off moves? Also, this game would be fun to play against other players, and this version will not include an online mode, or am I misinformed?
SM Galaxy is a definite "to do" list item for this summer, as is a return to SPM. Can anyone recommend Zelda? I want to play the game, but if it's not that great in the eyes of Dump peeps, I'll pass.
OT: I've been thinking about this for a while, I'd love to see a Wii Ware adaptation of the old arcade, two-stick game Karate Champ. I think the motion controls would be suited perfectly to recreating the control scheme for that game! I'd love to see Karate Champ show up on XBLA, too!

I'm not sure about online. That's an excellent question and I'd be sorely disappointed if there's no feature. As for control, I don't expect we'd have to use Wii waggle. I'm sure this would use some kind of ridiculous Wiimote/Nunchuk setup as a DEFAULT but then would allow you Wii classic controller setup. Similar to how Smash Brothers is. I haven't played any other fighting games on the Wii but the classic controller is really very good and in some ways better then the PS one. So hopefully that is all we need to have

More about Tatsunoko. It appears online isn't confirmed but it may still be possible. So in the hoopla of MONKEY ISLAND, another interesting game came out today on WiiWare. The sequel to Final Fantasy IV. I haven't played it yet but purchased it (then went back to like 6 hours of MI media blitz). And it looks pretty good ("looks" as in old school SNES graphics). It appears the game is split up into different quests that all combine in some way. You get the first game for $8 which consists of a prologue and 2 other quests and then you buy new quests as they come out.

Don't even bother using the Wiimote or Wiimote + Nunchuk to play this game as all the moves will end up in a shortcut or just very similar to Smash Bros. Using the GameCube controller is probably the best option right after an arcade stick. and... New Super Mario Bros. Wii kotaku.com/5275748/nintendo-reveals-the-new-super-mario-bros-wii

Super Mario Galaxy 2!!! And that new Metroid looked fucking AWESOME! 2010 can't come soon enough. Nintendo did damn good this year, I think.

Mario Galaxy 2 is the news of today for me. That new SMB strikes me as kinda odd.
Did they say when Galaxy was coming out?
