Firstly: Dean Lister is a lucky man he didn't gas out in the second round against Yuki Sasaki, because escaping all those submission attempts made Dean work HARDER to put them on, not working smarter to keep them effective.
Secondly: I am not gay, but Shonie Carter's banana hammock trunks draw attention like none else.
Third: I like Chris Leben, but why does every one of the fights he WIN look like fluke KOs?

Shonie looked too excited during weigh ins.

Dean Lister proves once again to be one-dimensional. His jiu-jitsu is fantastic, but his stand up is hilariously bad. Karo should of taken care of Diego in the second round, but whatever, that fight was really good. Give it a finish and it would of easily been FOTYC.

I caught TUF 4 last night. The premise is interesting, but the fact that established fighters should even have to compete on a TV show for spots on UFC cards is fucking retarded. Jorge Rivera? Patrick Cote? Eat a dick, Mr. White, those two are top notch dudes, not to mention Matt Sera (who looks to be in the best shape I've seen him in in a long time). Oh well, if nothing else, some good fights and TV exposure to the UFC's new Team Hollywood fans of established, MMA veterans can't hurt I guess. If the first fight of the season was any indication of how the rest of the fights will play out, I'll be watching TUF again.

I think the whole point of the show is to give these guys exposure with the less hardcore fans so that they can book them again, and hopefully they can make $$$ off of them. Most of these guys are like, worlds ahead of the average TUF kid due to their experience in the business.
This is really just to keep the critics at bay, I think, so they can fill out their cards with more established talent to appease the hardcore fans. I think the next season will most likely go back to 'no-names' that they can heavily underpay and overwork like most of the TUF alumni.

Nice!
From Live Audio Wrestling,
I needs to check who else is on this card. I don't really care about Griffin/Bonnar, but Diaz and Sobral... ;D

Diaz fucking rules. I still think he needs to kill Diego.

I concur. I almost cried like a hentai wankin' freak when Diaz lost the decision to that scroungy prick Sanchez.

Man, I can't stand Sanchez and all of his post-match bible punching stuff. I wish someone would just erase him for good. Great fight though.

Well, buck up, cowboy. Apparently Diaz looked pretty damned good against Josh Neer at UFC 62 last night. Lots of good combos (punching) and PATIENCE. Diaz picked up a third round Kimura submission over neer and a much needed PPV win. Thank the MMA gods, apparently the rest of the card blew chunks with Liddell retaining the LHW title after a 1:35 RD 1 KO victory over Sobral. Poor Babalu... I don't know if there's any legitimate competition for Liddell in the UFC right now. I'd like to see Brandon Vera get a pop at Liddell, I think that would make for a great fight, but I think Vera is focusing on HW stuff right now.

Thank the MMA gods, apparently the rest of the card blew chunks with Liddell retaining the LHW title after a 1:35 RD 1 KO victory over Sobral. Outside of that mess of a travesty (WHO THE HELL TOLD BABALU TO STAND UP WITH CHUCK?!!!), I enjoyed Griffin/Bonnar 2 - admittedly, anybody who expected a complete, total rematch of the last fight is stupid, as Forrest completely outclassed Bonnar to go to decision - Forrest Griffin has gone and IMPROVED, while Stephan Bonnar seems to kinda have stagnated. He didn't look BAD... but, it was kinda like the Forrest of Now was fighting the Bonnar of Back In The Day - that was an exciting fight back in the day, but now, Forrest just has more to work with. Right now, I think there isn't a real legit contender to Liddell... Unless Chuck gets another five months off to y'know, train to fight whoever wins between Tito/KennyWayne, I don't see who could really face off with him right this moment, unless they hotshotted one of the TUF winners up there.

Even TUF guys won't be shit in the cage with Chuck right now. Tito and/or Ken will be decimated by Liddell at this stage of their careers. UFC shit the bed by not signing Rampage when they had the chance, at least with Jackson they could promote a fight that fans might actually give a shit about (instead of promoting Babalu as the "submission master" and a legit contender after showing Chuck kicking him in the face for a KO at the start of EVERY UFC TV event over the past couple of years.). Maybe Dana could pound a few dozen cheese burgers into Baby Jay to move him up to light heavy instead of putting him in the ring against Matt Huges again. Penn is nuts enough to fuck up Liddell, even with the size difference, well, maybe that's an exaggeration, but at least it would be more entertaining than another 1:30 blow-out by the Iceman.

Babalu stood a very good chance against CHACK, but instead you could tell sort of freaked out. He is usually a lot more patient, and last night he just looked horrible. Diaz picked Neer apart, and it was about damned time. I don't get how that undercard was considered all that bad, as I found this to be one of the more watchable UFC shows from the past few months. I got to see motherfucking Hermes Franca tear apart some pussy (who actually RAN AWAY from him a few times), got to see motherfucking Nick Diaz, a really spirited and fun Forrest/Bonnar II and then your standard, bland Chuck fight.
God, I hate Chuck. If you are going to do the one-dimensional fighter thing, at least be a guy like Wanderlei Silva or Andrei Arlovski and not be such a fucking faggot about it. Every Chuck fight goes the same now, where somebody rushes at him, he jumps back a lot while throwing wild punches until one lands. Then he either hits another, or the guy just falls over and he pounces with more strikes. Every Chuck win feels like a fucking fluke punch that had a lot of force behind it. I swear, its starting to feel like UFC is paying people to lay down to fucking Chuck Liddell counter-punches/thumbs to the eye to make him look tough. I know that isn't true, but just look at all of his fucking recent fights. UGH@CHACK.

Hahaha! PRIDE talks a lot of shit?
A move up to HW for Chuck? If Arlovski curls up and dies, Chuck will paddle that lumbering human punching bag Silvia. Pointless, self-serving move for Liddell.
In other news...
I'd pay for the Silva/Franklin fight just to see Silva crush that poser Franklin once and for all. It could be a decent fight, too.
