I hear they're working on a Phoenix Wright game that doesn't star Phoenix Wright. That's kinda paradoxical, but I assume that means a game that is similar, and is set in the Phoenix Wright world, but with a new cast of characters.

My understanding is that the series is called Ace Attorney over hurr; Phoenix Wright is just the current lead. When Gyakuten Saiban 4 is released outside of Japan, expect it to still carry "Ace Attorney" in its title, with the name of the new lead (and prolly some subtitle like "A New Beginning", or somesuch.)

For those interested, IGNITE DS started a new segment detailing new stuff in Diamond and Pearl, including unveiling three new monsters each part. "Chimchar", indeed.

According to people who know how to translate that moon speak, Phoenix is still in it - he's just a support character or sorts. Also, "Monkey W/ Fire On Ass" a better name than Chimchar, but I'm not sure it'll fit when I try to rename it that... |
