Can you do the same when playing through broadband? Or do both people need the same game even to connect with each other? Like if I bought Super Mario Kart, could I beam a demo version to one of you guys over broadband so we could play online using just one game? I know the "demo game" is never as complete but i'm just wondering if that works. Nope. In order to connect online, you've gotta have the game to begin with. So, both people gotta have the game to do the WFC stuff.

Oh well, swing and a miss for me Too bad too, it was a decent idea for some temporary, inexpensive online play.

Okay then, the WiFi connector stays moth-balled! Got it! ;D Well, at least until Pokémon Diamond and Pearl come out, right? Speaking of which, who's getting one of these two games? Or, is someone going to wait until the third version comes out? I think I might wait, since they added a poopton of stuff into Emerald that Ruby and Sapphire didn't have.

I dunno if I should get another Pokemon game. The last Pokemon game I played was Pokemon Gold years ago when the GBA was hot and I was forced to give up Pokemon Gold.

I'll be getting Diamond pretty close to release date - I'm really not counting on there being a third version, but mostly because the game itself expands based on what you have in the GBA slot. That said, its pretty much pokemon - you know if you'll like it if you've played it with any depth, already. It's the WiFi thing that'll sell it for a lot of us, the ability to just hop on, trade, battle, etc., and what have you.

... Waddiamean, "expands"? Like, it'll open up new areas based on if you've got Ruby in there, as opposed to Fire Red?

Depending on what Pokemon game you have in the GBA slot, different monsters are catchable in Diamond/Pearl. One such thing being the ability to catch Haunter and Gengar (previously, only attainable through trade), or how having Fire Red gives you Elekid/Electabuzz or something and having Leaf Green gets you Magby/Magmar. That's what I meant.

I did not know that.
And now that I do, I'm kinda saddened and pissed. Not surprised, though. Bastards, making me hafta own five more gawdamn games for this one.

Has the WWE punished us with a WWE GBA game with Randy Orton yet?
