This senseless quarreling is all my fault!...  Give me a week, higher powers have me directed in far less entertaining duties than OBJECTing right now. I have a five day long weekend coming up right away, and it has boozing, whoring, fighting, and vandalism Phoenix Wright written all over it! ;D |

I'm quite enjoying "Contact" for what it's worth - I've just started, but the breaking of the fourth wall is nifty as hell, as a quirkly little Atlus RPG. Review forthcoming, obviously, but as with all things Atlus, if you suspect you MIGHT want to play it (two months to seven years) down the line, buy it now.

Not for this kid. I walk a fine enough line with the standard pokemon games, let alone one that looks just like the fucking TV show. If I do that, next thing I know I'll be playing Yu Gi Oh and Naruto games, then Poly Pocket, Mary-Kate and Ashely, then I'll end up a Microsoft slave standing in line for EA sports games on release day...

I've got a copy waitin' on me, I just gotta get around to getting it. I think I'm gonna trade in some of my beaten-the-hell-out-of DS games, like Metroid Hunters and Star Fox Command, since I don't really play online or anything. Prolly get rid of Pokémon Mystery Dungeon, too, since I got bored with it quick-like. And I'll prolly ditch Tenchu: Dark Secret like a girlfriend that just told me she's pregnant. Hopefully, with all that, plus an extra 10% plus whatever "trade x amount of games, get an extra x amount of credit" deals they may have going on, and I should be able to get Ranger. It just better be worth it.

So, I traded in Metroid, Kirby, Mario (NSMB, not MKDS), Pokémon (Mystery Dungeon), Tenchu, and Star Fox to get Ranger and toss some cash at the new Yoshi's Island. Ranger is pretty neat so far, and as I progress farther I'll either get bored with the gameplay pretty quick, or be absolutely enamored about it. Time will tell.
