I'll be expecting a full-on, detailed review of Tenchu from you post-haste...
Seriously, I'd really like to know how Tenchu translates onto the DS.

Well, I've only played a little bit into Tenchu so far, but I will say this; they have traps. Like, traps that you can chain combo kill fuckers with. Kinda like that Deception game (but just kinda). Making a guy walk into a pungee pit, get tossed into a mine, snatched up by a bear trap that's down a long cliff = win.

Meteos = Win. ***EDIT*** Well, you could play this on your DS Lite...

Nah. Tenchu's got more than enough story for me.
Like, seriously. A LOT OF STORY.
Boring story segments, too.

Yeah, so if you own a DS and you have not yet tried or do not own Meteos, hang your collective heads in shame. What a game, and I never thought I could enjoy a handheld game's soundtrack until I played Meteos.
Between Meteos, Animal Crossing, and Trauma Centre (nod to Joe, thanks for the comments about TC!), I think I could crawl into a little hole, disappear for a few years and be perfectly well entertained.

Do you really think Animal Crossing is worth the money? I had it for Gamecube and haven't touched it in years at this point, and I hear the DS one is the same game just about.

Well, the big to-do about the DS version is the WiFi. But, outside that, same basic stuff. They just "sequel'd" it.

Well, now you can wear HATS! That's right, so open up that wallet and pour some more of your hard earned bells onto Nintendo's FYYYYAAAAAAAHHHHH!
Uh, yeah, the DS game isn't really any different that the GCN version, but I was a pathetic chron for that game, and this version is more of the same, but with HATS! Worth the money? For me, yes. Will I play it using WiFi, I doubt it, unless anyone here wants to see my fruity lil' village full of flowers, a well stocked museum, and my dude wearing a FAWKING HAT!

PS: The "Galactic Fork" ending in Meteos has a fairly disturbing picture, depicted in an art style not unlike OG's beloved FPC, LAWL avatar. If you have the game and you've reached that particualr ending, you'll know what I mean...

I played the game, watched the ending, but forgot what it was.
Everybody should hang their head in shame if they don't already have Advance Wars: Dual Strike.

The only part I really, truly enjoyed about the GCN version was I made the original M2K logo and had my little guy decked out in it, being a full on rudo and pissing people off.

Has anyone else heard about these Pokémon Mystery Dungeon games? Your character is cursed and becomes a pokémon, and the whole game has you play as a pokémon (or, apparently, a party) in what appears to be a very Zelda-esque game. Looks neat, but, it's weird because there's a version coming out for DS and one for GBA. I'm not really sure how they work together, either. But, it looks quite :coal.

Sounds like Dragon Quest Heroes: Rocket Slime, except you're not cursed. You're a real slime in a "Zelda-esque" game.

There's also this Pokémon Ranger game coming out, which looks kinda spiffy. Another completely different take on the franchise, where you play a character who's job is to use pokémon to fight natural disasters, such as fires. You have this "whip" kind-of thing that you use with the stylus, to draw circles around wild pokémon. Then, after you've subdued them, you can use them to help you out, doing anything from having them attack other creatures, to linking them with your stylus weapon to have element-based attacks. The catch is, tho, that once you use them, they're freed back into the wild.
Seems spiffy. And also serves as a set-up for P/D.

You mean to tell me that with this new Pokemon game, I can tell people that I have the Suirtle Squad in the palm of my hands and not have them call the police? Awesome!
