Does anybody want to explain to me why in the fuck Myst is going to be on PSP and not DS?
Anybody?

How about why they're porting GBA's Riviera: The Promised Land to the PSP?

if you'd like to get WORKED OVER in Mario Kart, gimme a holler, and stick this set of numbers in your friends list.
193347-593488
until then, I shall work over these poor japanese schmucks.
*edit* holy balls, I hate snakers.
and is it just me, or is it weird to anyone else that people in first can get stars and triple mushrooms? I never have, and I see a lot of snakers get them. just weirds me out, is all.

I've noticed that once or twice, too. It's pretty lame, if ya ask me, because I really never get anything but single mushrooms and banana peels, regardless of what place I'm in.
And, hey. Is it even POSSIBLE to play on tracks from more than just the first two cups in the Nitro and Retro series? I've never seen more than just the default list of tracks, and that fucking Rainbow Road on the select screen for online play, and that makes me a sad panda.

Yo, what the fawk is "snaking" anyway (and how's it acomplished)? I've read about it on Kart boards and even on F-Zero boards (I think), but never bothered asking aboot it. Thanks.

It's where you use powerslides effectively to increase your speed on a constant basis across the entire track. It's not a ncessarialy easy thing to accomplish, as you'll typically need a kart with good handling and drift capabilities, as well as stretches of road to use the technique on.

Thanks, Slime!
So that's snaking, eh? Looks like a pain in the ass. What's wrong with just enjoying a regular race?

People want to win, so they'll use any technique or edge in order to. I don't snake because, well... it's cheap and taudry. I'd much rather have a straight-on race, where everyone is just trying to have a good race.

I don't seem to be able to find any of the good tracks in online.
phooey. incomplete game fer sure.
snaking is shitty, and it'll kill Mario Kart open DS Play, I bet. I played some fucker who used ROB, record was something like 1,892-0. He only picked Rainbow Road. Ugh. I saw a dude who could snake through the hole in that one level - where you start, and if you head straight, you go across rough ground, the hole, and cut off a part of the track. he could go through that at NORMAL speed. UGH.
I mean, I abuse turbo boosts, but not down straightways. around corners? hell yeah.
in online play, I can't seem to get any good items, either. I'm pretty sure bananas are limited to one to reduce lag, because my Kart of choice has max items and I've never seen a triple - ditto on shells. I was in second behind a snaker across three laps on Yoshi Circuit, and didn't get one red shell. THAT was annoying, because Grand Prix play hands me tons of those.
I had the most fun when I found some japanese dude that was like, EXACTLY as good as me. I was Yoshi, he was Toad, and we were literally neck and neck for three races in a row - our third dude left after he lost the first race.
it's fun, but as of now is iffy.

Those're the kinds of races I like; where it's neck-and-neck the whole time. Sadly, out of my 16-11 record... I've only had one of those races. Too many snaker bitches. One dude I played was some 1,670-0, and I just kinda sighed and thought to myself "Fuckin' fucker."

Hmm, makes me wonder why I bothered with a WiFi USB connector at all. I guess I'd hoped that some how, some way, FPW would make its way onto the DS.

I got Tenchu: Dark Secret today. Good so far. Kinda dialouge-heavy, tho, for the first few missions. I was giddy when I saw the WiFi logo on it, but, the only thing you can do online is trade items with other people. Big disappointment, especially considering that there's AdHoc multiplayer (multi-cart, not single cart, like in MKDS).
