Holy crap. A new, WFC-enabled Bomberman just dropped for WiiWare. WHY WAS I NOT TOLD ABOUT THIS IN ADVANCE?!?

So, if it comes to the US, anyone here plan on getting Monster Hunter 3? I played one of the PSP Monster Hunters, and I had a lot of fun with it, but it got too hard for me because I couldn't do multi-player. :/ I don't know what kind of online format MH3 will have, but it'd be pretty neat to play this game with you guys online.

It's on Wii, right? If it hits here, I'll most likely pick it up.

I'm down for that - I like Monster Hunter for the PSP, and the Wii version could be a bit of alright.

Without Mikami, will your take on Resident Evil tread its own path?
Kawata: Resident Evil 4 broke the boundaries of the franchise. However, there are things we wanted to do in RE4 which we can do now and will be including in 5. It's not going to be a revolution, but it will be an evolution.
Things? Resident Evil 5 looks superficially similar to Resi 4; what's been improved here?
Kawata: First of all, and quite obviously, the graphics. Even the title screen of this couldn't have been done on PS2 or Wii.computerandvideogames.com/article.php?id=200059

EA planning Wii peripherals. This is the first step towards a Kick boxing game IMO. I hope I'll get to do muay thai leg kicks to a virtual opponent in the near future ;D

I just downloaded World of Goo (yeah I know I already got two games today but I had a best buy gift certificate ). WOW. Guys, World of Goo is awesome. Another incredible Wiiware game. It plays sorta like Lemmings but with a lot less frustration and a lot more maneuverability. The music is pretty awesome too, as are the hilarious cut scenes and instructions for each board. It has that same "the developers cared about this game deeply" as Lost Winds.

I'll tell you what I told my other friend: Any attempt to try to sell me on this game and hype it was simply not adequate to explain how awesome it was! It's not your fault, guys, its just that some games kinda defy review...and even hyperbole like this Seriously though, even though I was hearing all the right things from all the right people on this, I didn't get it til now because 1) I needed da Wii points and was lazy and 2) I guess I was kinda scared that this would be too much like Lemmings (a game I loved at the time but really can't see myself playing again). But it's not Lemmings, its really its own game that has some similar ideas but goes in its own direction and does it excellently AND with style. I also see a whole lot of replay value in this as well, not just for perfecting the game but just having fun and relaxing. So yeah, gg World of Goo!
