Hey, kids, do you like violence? How about ultra-violence? Thought Kill Bill was tame? Got bored with carving people in half to blood- and coin-sprays with the Blood Berry in No More Heroes? Well, SEGA and Platinum Games has the answer! MadWorld, seriously, sounds brutal and nasty and fucking awesomely awesome.

I got the WiiFit. Too early to judge, but I certainly won't be boxing it back up and taking it back to the store. I'll keep you posted. Right after I take a nap. I'm worn out.

Sounds good!! Don't pull your harpsichord! Stretch it out first!
I've finally got a chance to play "My Life as a King" and i'm really enjoying it. Its quite endearing with a nice combination of Sim City development and Final Fantasy military themes. Definitely a fun game and really incredible considering the low price. Also, INFORMATION PENGUINS ;D

There are no video game penguins except for Prinnies, and any pretenders to the throne shall be Prinny Bombed.

This penguin has VALUABLE INFORMATION and when I talk to him, sparkling stars appear and disappear as he dances left and right. He tells me things...things about dungeons and adventures. His name is Pavlov.

Dood. Suicidal, homicidal, genocidal exploding penguins >>>>> sparkly dancing know-it-all penguins.

Okay, the Wii online friend thing is driving be fucking batty. I've registered a few of you for your Karting clinics, but it still says you're not "friends" yet. WTF is up with that?

Cuz we have to register back? I haven't cuz, well, I haven't played MKW in awhile, and I'd uninstalled the Mario Kart Channel to make room for LostWinds.

The Mario Kart channel is a bit spotty. I THINK I'm registered as a friend with Moto and you too Jon but I'm not sure. To be honest I still haven't played onlike Mario Kart yet. Hopefully I will soon. When I got the game I was kinda on a major FPR kick but maybe I can give some online a chance this week

Just another plug for Lost Winds. I played it for the second time last night and really enjoyed it. Some very FUN platforming with a great artistic design for the backgrounds and nice (if not slightly repetitive) music. Its a great game and even more amazing considering its price.
I also bought the Family Table Tennis last night for $5 and well, its worth just about that. I could see it being fun against a human (or highly trained robot/monkey...or hybrid of the two) but I made it through the CPU challenge with limited joy. So only get this if you expect to play others.
Its very similar to Wii Sports tennis with two major changes (besides tennis not being table tennis). It's less FRUSTRATING in one respect cause you no longer curse the situations where you can't control the player and miss the ball as a result (something that happens fairly often in Wii Tennis cause of the lack of player control). Since its table tennis you pretty much have the entire range of motion on the table. One thing thats not as good as Wii Tennis is that you really don't have that depth of power shots. You can hit the ball hard and its noticeably harder then a soft shot..but there isn't that many levels of depth in between the two. Whereas with Wii tennis you really can get a lot of different type of power shots depending on how you swing. So yeah, its not a BAD game (especially considering the price) but its a mere $5 diversion.

So... who's looking into Mario Super Sluggers here?
For some reason, I've been watching more and more baseball and playing baseball (MLB: The Show 08 for PSP) and this looks intriguing. Maybe they will make football next? Not Strikers.

I'd consider it. Baseball is one of the few sports I can play with a more "loose" structure. I kinda need my basketball, tennis, soccer, and football games to be a bit more realistic but I've always enjoyed more "arcadey" baseball games - case in point, my SNES love affair with Super Baseball Simulator 1.0. If Mario is quality like that, its worth a look from me

So I just downloaded the new Wiiware game - Block Breaker Deluxe. For $8, its a solid "Arkanoid" experience for the Wii, using the Wiimote motion control in a pretty cool way as I've never played Arkanoid like this before. There's also supposedly multiplayer. I'm kind of an Arkanoid junkie so having a new game with new boards with a new play control system is pretty cool to me
