MY laggy ass? Bitch, I run fat pipes! The only reason your ass won is because you unleashed the greatest weapon in online gaming; massive goddamned lag. Bitch. Some characters have reflect moves, like Pit and Fox, which reflect projectiles. Peach's is supposed to be a counter more than a reflect; it should bounce off any attack and give retaliatory damage. [edit:] I'm gonna be on-and-off tonight. I'd like to get to unlocking some characters, since I only have the starting 21. Lag discussion notwithstanding, I think Peach's counter works a lot like Ike's - TIMING being crucial. Which, dammit, going back to the lag... we had no chance of. Maybe later tonight we'll see a difference, and if not, I'll see what I can do about an ethernet connection TO the Wii.

Unlocked Ganondorf, Mr. Game & Watch, and R.O.B. today. Half way through the adventure mode (53%).
Only Toon Link, Wolf, and Jigglypuff left.

Jeeze! I've got Ness, Marth, and... someone else. Snake. Yeah, Snake. Too bad online brawls don't count towards those totals.
And Subspace Emissary is starting to tick me off. All these forced-scrolling levels... That shit went out in the 80's for a reason!

And Subspace Emissary is starting to tick me off. All these forced-scrolling levels... That shit went out in the 80's for a reason! I love side-scrollers but have 3 huge pet peeves with them: 1) Forced-scrolling levels. 2) Strict timed levels. 3) Underwater levels. And if you combine them, I simply won't play the board. I'll stop playing the game if need be. But some of the regular side-scrolling levels in SMBB are awesome

So umm..... nintendo's wifi is still messed up? Can't seem to connect to online brawl through "anybody."

Well, it might just be that noone else is looking to Brawl with "anybody".

I highly doubt that. There are MILLIONS... and.... MILLIONS of Smash Bros. fans and its unlikely that no one is looking for an "anybody" match.

So, some odd/funny things I've noticed about Brawl...
Peach has an all-white dress. Hmm...
"Green Team" Pikachu is totally Pikachulo, holmes.
Metaknight has some really flamboyant outfits. So does Cap'n Falcon.
Falco has a frickin' Brooklyn accent. What the hell? No, seriously, is it THAT HARD to get the guys who do the voices for the Star Fox characters to come back and do them for a second game? Every damn Star Fox game has a new voice cast! It's retarded!

Honest question for those who've played...
Does it seem like Ike is OVERPOWERED? I didn't feel like he was; especially since moto was playing pretty well counter to him when we battled the other night. I mean, on a scale of Mr. Game & Watch to Pikachu, he certainly felt middle of the road - no speed to speak of matched with pretty solid strength; a Zangief type, y'know?
Or, maybe I'm just playing people who spend more time talking crap than anything else and they're looking for ways to excuse my beating them.
BUT, the Dump Posters are the most knowledgeable source of EVERYTHING, so I figured I'd ask you guys.

I honestly haven't played Ike that much outside of when I've had to on Subspace Emissary. I think the best way to know would be to see how common he becomes on the tournament scene. After all, those tournament playing bastards will use any sort of shortcut they can to win.
I've been playing Subspace Emissary, trying to beat the fucker, and I have one question, guys. What's this "Sleep" crap? Like, seriously? What is it and where can I get some? Cuz I haven't much since Subspace Emissary. And, Jeebus, how the fuck long is the freaking Subspace Emissary mode?! I've clocked damn near 10 hours into it already and I'm just lost in this maze!

So, I'm feeling sporting. Plus, I saw this on another forum and thought, hey, let's give it a go. If you had one more row of characters to add (9 characters), who would it be? 1) Paper Mario ( Paper Mario) 2) Dixie Kong ( Donkey Kong Country) 3) Wolf Link & Midna ( The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess) 4) Jill ( Drill Dozer) 5) Louie ( Pikmin 2) 6) Krystal ( Star Fox) 7) Rival Trainer (either "Chris" w/ Chikorita, Quilava, and Feraligator ( Pokémon Gold/ Silver/ Crystal), "May" w/ Mudkip, Grovyle, and Blaziken ( Pokémon Ruby/ Sapphire/ Emerald), or "Dawn" w/ Turtwig, Monferno, and Empoleon ( Pokémon Diamond/ Pearl)* 8) Issac ( Golden Sun) 9) Bomberman ( Bomberman) *= I got it! They should add KOS-MOS into the next Smash Bros. ;D
