There's three ways to unlock each character. I guess you somehow magically found the third.

Yeah... there's this thing roaming around the GameFAQs message board saying to beat classic mode 10 times, but I haven't done that either. Or another way is to play 10 hours which I did, maybe that's the reason?
So... 4 ways?

Official results: Moto sunk my battleship I did pretty decently for having just gotten used to the game though. The two or three matches I won I actually felt like i had SOME idea what I was doing But Moto wiped the floor with me overall |

I wasn't able to join the battle, sad to say. I guess cuz I don't have Sonny's friend code. I did okay. Got to play some new characters. Had fun overall, which is really important. Well, up until that real rough spot there at the end. lol I choose to blame the laggy connection. So, were you doing Random character, or choosing your character between turns? Us both popping up with the black Pit was quite hilarious. |

Finished SSE!
Missing a few of the hidden characters, though.
My current favorite is the Pokemon Trainer still - but, I like Ike. I like Ike so much, I feel bad for not liking the Gamecube/Wii Fire Emblem games.
I don't normally pick the slower fighters in ANY fighting game, so this is a nice change of pace for me to slip into a character like this.

I've only played as Ike once, against Geese, and iirc, it was pretty damn laggy so I couldn't get a real handle on him. I'll certainly like to give him a try, though. I do like the Trainer, though. Gotta get used to Pit, though. And I think Peach might start being my  n ass-beating character. Seriously. |

I actually haven't played as Meta Knight yet. Just as Kirby w/ Meta Knight hat vs Geese. Ask Geese how that went. haha

There was lag at the end but overall it was pretty good. I was picking characters based on who I wanted to use. At the end i started picking stages randomly which is why we got the same stage twice at one point I really like Meta Knight. So far my favorite characters though are Wario, Bowser, Donkey Kong, and Mario who seems to have a move resembling a dragon punch Wario does too. I definitely need a LOT of practice in this as "button mashing" is putting it kindly for most of my matches. Oh also there's some cool stuff that can be sent to others. Sonnybone sent me a great picture that he was able to capture during a match. I gotta find out how to do that. I just played some odd "coin shoot" mode where I was able to unlock stickers and trophies. |

How does the Wii online stuff work? Outside of playing with the virtual console, I haven't done ANYTHING online, and the thought of not having thrashed some of you is starting to annoy me.
