Yeah I plan to use the classic pad. I haven't used that thing yet but now I'm glad I have it cause I can't imagine playing this any other way. I'm hoping I'll have the game tomorrow

In my grubby paws now, too. I finished my THC lab early today (At 4:20, LOL!), so I headed out and snapped it up! I let the intro movie play, almost pooped my pants, then promptly shut it off. I won't have time to really get into it until the weekend, but then... It's on like DONKEY KONG, ni... Nintendo-heads! ;D

Intro for this game was PHENOMENAL.
It feels epic, just like SMG.

Meta Knight is still win.
...and I've been playing on the Wii Remote + Nunchuck and there's almost no signs of switching to the Gamecube controller.

The bit I played, I'm gonna stick to Kirby for awhile. I really wanna try out Sonic, tho. And R.O.B.. I'll be pwning you bitches with your friendly neighborhood Robotic Operating Buddy.
[edit:] Man. How fucked is it that I'm the guy that was overexcited about the game, and I'm the only [regular poster] here what doesn't have it? That's wrong. It's just WRONG.

Agreed. You've been getting us hyped for MONTHS about this game. Meanwhile, I preorder it about 2-3 days before it comes out and it arrives today. And yeah, I just played about a half hour online with BillWood and had a great time. I'm still getting used to the game and am reading up on the internets about how to do everything. I can say this game is SUPER fun already though and I've just been playing for a little while. To be honest, I'm a bit worried cause I can see a VERY high addiction factor for this ;D

That is AWESOME. I'm gonna have to get me an SD card ;D Amazing there is such a strong fan community for this already. In many ways I think this has turned out to be a much bigger game for the Wii then Super Mario Galaxy. |

It's like Fire Pro, only with Mario, and without 100 versions each of pile drivers and powerbombs, no CRITICAL!s, a ghey, pink floaty guy, and no exploding cage death match... K, I'll go now. |

The only thing I hate about Brawl is... ...trying to get Snake to call his codec and switching from Samus to Zero Suit Samus in game consistently.  |

LOL I'm pretty sure we could have Fire Pro have a pink floaty guy though. Heck, i even saw a Kirby edit on the FPC a few days back ;D And while Smash Brothers doesn't have the Goose.. i DID make one of my online taunts: "& touch u" ;D I love Super Mario Galaxy, don't get me wrong. But I feel like Smash Brothers has more fan buzz to it. The sheer number of competitors plus the HUGE addition of online multiplayer has really made this the top game of the system in my opinion. Nintendo is rocking it with the Wifi connection. BillWood from CA and me in NY had NO LAG. Amazing. And the fact we can have so many players at once rules. PS Kudos to Jon for being the first person to Wiim ail me!  |
