Huh. I guess that means the "leaked SSBB roster" I found earlier was fake, then, since I don't recall seeing Olimar on it.
Edit: Oh, wait a minute, apparently I was wrong, he IS on the "leaked roster". Hm... Interesting... I wonder if this really IS the actual character list, then...?

Olimar?!? Awesome! I'd hoped that Pikmin would end up in the DS pokyman games, but alas... So, which amongst you would like to be the FIRST to have a black or red Pikmin kicked up their digitized Nintendo character of choice's ass? ;D
Anyone else think the 100 "man" challenge dudes look like the beings from Meteos?

Yanno, I hadn't noticed it, but now that you mention it, yeah, they do. Especially the yellow one.

So, the Dojo update for today is Cap'n Olimar's special attacks! They're staying pretty faithful to the Pikmin games with them, really! B plucks pikmin out of the ground, and each color has its own attributes and such, just like in the Pikmin games! What stinks is, the yellow ones don't carry bombs. You can have up to six of the buggers at a time, and whichever ones pop up are dependent on the ground you're on. B+left/right has Olimar throw a pikmin at his opponent. Whatever the next one is in line gets tossed! They'll latch on and cause damage. The white ones'll do even more damage, because they poison enemies, and the purple ones smash the enemy! B+up is the Pikmin Chain. Olimar uses whatever pikmin he has with him to make a whip out of them, and can even use it to latch onto ledges. B+down is the Pikmin Order, which Olimar uses to call whatever pikmin he has on the battlefield back to him. Olimar's gonna be a weird character to play as. hahah

Man, I saw a picture of Ninja-Snake (or whatever the hell his name is...) and thought he was a playable character! I almost pissed myself! Then, I wound out he's a friggin' assist dude. Bunk.
PS: PLEEEEEEEASE let STARMAN be a playable character! At least MENTION NES Pro Wrestling!

I'd be disappointed, but I don't have the extra cash to afford it, anyway. Maybe with the delay, I'll be able to put put some cash away to be able to buy it. Though, the fact that I may be losing my job in the next few weeks doesn't help...

Oh, that sucks. Well get on the job hunt! It's easier to get a job when you already have one.
It's a fact.

Good, now Nintendo has NO EXCUSE to release a shitty game, and I have more time to focus on XoF XI/NGBC, uh, I mean, my responsibilities... ;D UPDATE! Hmm, Jan 24th in Japan, eh? Famitsu seems to like the game a bit...

Holy crow. I don't know how, but I missed a DOJO!! update! And a big one at that! Shiek!! Yep! Shiek is back, and is all Twilight Princess'd out, too! According to Sakurai, Shiek's design is based off of some drafts that were done in the planning stages for Twilight Princess. In addition to that, Sakurai refers to Shiek as "her" instead of the Ocarina of Time's Shiek was was referred to as "him", despite being Princess Zelda in a clever (and very tight) disguise. It also appears that they've added a Special Moves section to all the characters' basic bios. I'm not sure what the significance of this is, if any. Aaaaaaaand, Thursday's update is Olimar's Final Smash! Just like in Pikmin when it's nightfall, it's best to get the hell indoors! If you're not in Olimar's ship when it takes off, giant wild animals stampede in to devour you! And as if that weren't bad enough, his ship crashes with a giant explosion to add injury to injury!

Hmmmmmm...... Another day, another update for the Dojo!!.
Those stickers you collect in the game? Well, turns out they have a practical usage; they all have a special ability, and can be attached to your trophy base, so when you're playing, you'll have all sorts of extra skills. So, say a sticker gives you +20 Launch Resistance. Well, when you get knocked clear across the stage, you won't get knocked as silly!
Could be very interesting.
