Could just be one of those titles where you kinda have to be a fan of to really appreciate. Hell, didn't the Phoenix Wright games get pretty mediocre reviews? And most of us here like them. I know, I just thought I'd stir the pot a bit Besides, whoever agrees with the 4.0 that Gamespot gave Tenchu Z can go suck a deadman's dick. These are the same gang of assholes who give consistent 8.5 - 9.0's to crap on a plastic disk like Madden and such.

So.. Apparently a couple of GameStops around me have some WIIs in stock and I suddenly have this urge to get one (last time I ended up with a PSP, one of the best gaming decisions that I have ever made). I should probably get it soon before the holiday rush and I do have a couple of games that I am interested in, Fire Emblem, Metroid, and Zelda. I bet money that says they don't have 'em anymore. Those things don't last anywhere. 'Specially now that it's the helladays. I don't need a hi-def television do I? Nope. But, it'd help. Wii plays in up to widescreen 480p, instead of 360 and da P3 what go to 1080p. ...and should I make the Wii my first Nintendo home console? No, douche. Should've been a GameCube.

I didn't have money then, I have money now. Plus, the Wii can play GameCube games correct?

Yep. I'm just saying, you're way too old to be just now getting on the Nintendo bus.

GB Pocket > GB Color > GB Advance > GBA SP > Nintendo DS > Nintendo DS Lite
Not good enough?
I grew up on Sonic and Sega anyways.

Handhelds are too inexpensive to be busses.

The Nintendo Wii is a MUCH BETTER system to get now than it was last year.
For games already out, you've got Trauma Center, Metroid Prime 3 (which is a favorite around here), Mario Galaxy, Fire Emblem and Twilight Princess.
Coming out? You've got Final Fantasy, Smash Brothers Brawl, Monster Hunter 3, Mario Kart (which'll probably be a Dump Online Favorite), a NEW Trauma Center and No More Heroes (even with Smash Bros, this is what I'm looking forward to the most).
The big complaint is that the Wii is essentially a GameCube with fancy pants waggle controls - well, that's a good a time as any to catch up on what you missed for the GC; like Fire Emblem: PoR, the first Metroid Prime, Super Mario Sunshine, Pokeymans, Killer7...
But, look at what you CAN play now - what you can play that was good for the GC - and what you WILL be able to play in the future, and the Wii's a good investment, if you like the kinds of games that are coming out for it and know how to avoid crap like Chicken Shoot or EA Playground.

Heh, yay, some one else is anticipating No More Heroes, too. ^_^
Ah, it's always nice to come here after *shudder* GameFAQs. At least here, you get people talking sensibly about consoles, instead of debates about how sales = quality (or =/=, in the Wii's case...), or how "Only babies play Nintendo!" or "The Wii's graphics are SO bad they make my eyes BLEED!".

Its the weird details about a game that get me excited. Like, to power up your "No More Heroes" lightsaber in game, you have to jack off the Wiimote in real life. Seriously.

Heh heh, yeah, and isn't the animation for saving the game Travis sitting on the toilet, or something? XD

Seriously, No More Heroes will rock faces. Hopefully they won't get slapped with that goddamned A/O bullshit, though.
Also, I'd <3 the fuck out of a Wii-make of Killer7.

So... If I do get a Wii today or soon, what are some accessory will/do I need? Pick up another Wiimote, and maybe a nunchuck. If you're interested in N64/SNES virtual console games, a classic controller, too. That should get you started.
