Wouldn't it? You'd think that Lucasarts would've had the same fucking thought everyone else did when Nintendo said "motion-tracking controller", but I guess their brains were off that day.

I think developers aren't yet following through on the promise of the Wii. Perhaps its too new.
So many BLATANTLY OBVIOUS ideas arent being given a chance. Or at least aren't being announced (which would further drive Wii sales and excitement). I just don't get it. Nintendo is doing a lot of cool and different things with it but we need MORE. Something as obvious as a Star Wars (or heck, Lord of the Rings) sword fighting game would rule. Yeah, licenses can turn out bad but can also turn out amazing.
The Wii is a system that has so much damn obvious potential. While the next few months of games look GREAT for it (great enough for me to BUY one!), i want to see the word AWESOME being used instead. Though obviously, the system is less then a year old and its certainly doing pretty damn well in terms of its competitors. I just hope it keeps and adds to its momentum with an even better library over the next few years. And eventually hits that run of momentum that the SNES and PS2 hit. I'm happy I own one now as there's some great stuff coming and I LOVE playing the system already after just one night.

Even with time AWAY from the intarwebs, I read about games...
AND, it looks like I'm getting my Light Gun fix on the Wii with TWO new games! Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicles is Capcom saying to Sega "WHY ISN'T HOUSE OF THE DEAD OUT YET?" and Sega's Ghost Squad is the company made famous by quick rodents saying to Namco "WHY ISN'T TIME CRISIS OUT YET?!"
Namco's all "lol, I dunno."
...
Bleach for the Wii looks to be a cel-shaded fighter; along the lines of those DBZ games for the PSzzzz...
...I'm a consumer whore, but I cancelled my preorder on that one. NEVER MIND the keychain with the insignia of Kenpachi Zaraki's 11th Company ; I'm not that pathetic!
(yes I am)

I don't care what any of you dogs say, I genuinely enjoyed DragonBall Z Budokai 3. I don't know about the Tenkaichi games, tho, cuz I haven't played them yet. Plus, as you said yourself, SEGA + licence = $$ <3. But, I'll be cool and try to snatch a keychain for ya. It is funny, tho, that CAPCOM makes the zombie light-gun game and SEGA makes the terrorist light-gun game. Terrible is that both "budokai" and "tenkaichi" show up in my predictive text. I'm scared.

Is his logo the Invader Zim skull-looking thing?

Is his logo the Invader Zim skull-looking thing? Nope. The logo on the keychain I snagged is a white diamond shaped thing with a black border - and iirc, the nihon-gai jive talk number for eleven in the middle. Uwajimaya <3. I even snagged an SMT Artbook the last time I went there; thank God its in Seattle.

So last night I did something unholy.
During Wii Tennis, I put myself on each side and basically played against myself.
I often say I should be committed but if anyone took pics of last night, they'd have proof.

I've done that. Pretty insane, but quite fun.

you know what's even MORE insane?.... Heading over to your Wii, only to find it glowing blue, signifying an infestation of foreign Miis worse than that pack of crabs you picked up last weekend on shore leave in Manila...
DEADLY!

It doesn't glow when you get new Miis, so, hah.
My FLCL Miis are pretty tight tho, huh?

Prepare to be totally undewhelmed for a couple of months! I'd like to strike this hastily and thoughtlessly posted comment from the records, please. I've been thoroughly enjoying my recently acquired gift of RE 4: Wii Edition, and now understand what all of the hype is about. OG, if you haven't played RE4 yet (or even if you have), you need to check it out! So yeah, between RE4, Super Paper Mario, Wii Sports, Trauma Centre, Kirby's Dream Course, and the imminent release of Metroid Prime (my interest in this game has multiplied greatly after enjoying the flawless control scheme of RE4 and imagining what Retro could pull off with a similar scheme!), I think you'll be doing just fine! ;D

Heh, I got Prime 3 on pre-order, but I never finished Prime 2 (due to my memory card becoming corrupt when I was halfway through the game... >_<). So, after more than a year of never picking Prime 2 up again, I started a new file in it. Hopefully, with my limited time to game, I can finish it in the nine or so days before 3 comes out. I just beat the Boost Guardian, and what a bitch that thing was... I also hope there's no Sheegoth/ Grenchler-like enemies in Prime 3; I HATE those things with a passion...

Shit, I still haven't beaten Prime... I'm on the last boss fight, but I could never beat that fucking thing, and the frustration wasn't worht the effort I could put into other games at the time. I should go back and try to beat it, but just the thought of getting killed over and over again after putting twenty minutes into a boss fight just doesn't do it for me. I LOVED Metroid: Prime, but that last boss fight is too much

I've never been a huge fan of the series but I can understand how the Wii version is a bit different and more engaging. I'll look into it I think the Wii is in pretty good shape as we head into the hoLAWLidays (sorry). The games you mentioned PLUS Mario Galaxy and Mario Kart bring things into happy territory. I'm really enjoying Wii Sports too Is Super Paper Mario really good? How much does it use the unique Wii control scheme?
