New SSBB update, and this one has "Jyou" written aaalllllll over it.
Actually, that's a misnomer. It really has "MOTHER" written all over it!
The Franklin Badge is just that; a badge. When your character picks it up, they put it on. It looks nice and all, and the gold/silver design looks good on some characters. Kirby wears it like a hat (or maybe a yarmulka?).
Oh, and it also reflects projectiles.

This thread is officially my posting bitch. There's a nice new update to the Shopping Channel: a Metroid: Corruption preview. It's free. You just download it, select it from the Wii Menu, and check out a couple nifty trailers and gameplay videos. Right now, one of each is available, but there'll be more on the 13th, leading up to the release of the game. Looks nice, too, and mother-fucking voice acting. Also, during this "month of Metroid", Super Metroid well be getting released on VC, the 20th. So, maybe Nintendo loves me after all. [edit:] And Metroid for NES hits VC on Monday. (Still, you should get Kid Icarus instead, since Zero Mission is totally awesome.)

Go to your message board (the e- l looking thing in the bottom right corner of the n menu), select 'create message', and then the address book (far right), and it'll be on the cover. That's also where you'll input friends' Wii codes.

The games themselves. Each game has its own Friend Code system, and you can usually find them in the options.

On a surely unrelated note, I <3 getting my discount on Wii points cards. And if any of youze mugs want Wii points cards for a bit cheaper, lemmie know. Cuz after all, what the fuck good is an employee discount if you don't abuse the hell out of it?

Holy fuck, dudes, holy fuck! A new for SSBB has been unveiled at the Dojo; the Pokémon Trainer! The Pokémon Trainer himself doesn't fight; instead, he commands his three pokémon, Squirtle, Ivysaur, and Charizard, in battle. They can be swapped out at will, but they all share the same health bar, so swapping out won't give you that benefit. However, each of the three monsters has a stamina bar of sorts, so swapping them out too much, or relying soley on one, won't do you much good. They swap out in a set order, too; Squirtle -> Ivysaur -> Charizard. The trainer himself kinda resembles Ash from the second or third seasons (the ones based off G/S), just a tad more generic, and seems to be carrying both a Pokénav and a Pokétch. This is totally tits, man. I think li'l ol' puffball Kirby might be getting replaced in Brawl. [edit] And as a funny/sad sidenote, the pokémon in SSBB seem to be all-around better looking and better animated than those in Pokémon Battle Revolution.

Nothing special in the shop today, just Metroid, really. Still waiting on the new MP3:C vids to be added to the MP3:C Channel.

New Assist Trophy unveiled; the Devil from the NES game Devil's World (which was never released in the states). He jumps into the air and forces the stage to scroll off-screen! No stage means everybody plummets to the depths!
