I got owned by batteries.
A lot of games will pause itself when your batteries run out of juice (both Wii and 360), but not Resident Evil: Darkside Chronicles. I was playing Resident Evil: Darkside Chronicles and having a good time until my batteries on my Wiimote died. I thought my game froze because it wouldn't shoot, but then I found out my batteries were dead. Before I knew it, I was dead due to being mauled to death.

I got Phoenix Wright for the Wii and it's just basically a stretched out, full screen of Phoenix Wright from the DS.
I haven't gotten through the first case yet, but so far there are pointing controls with the wiimote. You can't yell "Hold it!", "Take That!", "Objection!" at your TV like you can on the DS.
Instead, when Phoenix Wright yells, the voice comes out of the wiimote. The most unique thing about Phoenix Wright on the Wii so far is that you can swing your wiimote for the "Objection!" or you can just object by selecting the evidence and pressing the - button.
The worse thing about it is that buying the game isn't enough. They are charging extra if you want to unlock case 5, the one about SL-9 with Damon Gant.
I would still recommend getting this game if you don't have a DS. The original Phoenix Wright was still a lot of fun to play. If you have a DS though, get that one instead.

So, 2010 could be a huge year for Nintendo. Or, a hugely disappointing year. Three big games in the pipeline - Super Mario Galaxy 2, Metroid: Other M, and a new Legend of Zelda for the Wii - could make this an incredibly memorable year. But with no release window for any of the titles, it could end up being a memorable year simply because Nintendo let us all down.

5 hours into No More Heroes 2 and I think I've been playing the minigames more than I am doing the actual missions. >_>

I think NMH 2 got about as much hype as Tatsunoko. But my mind was really primarily on Tatsunoko so I wasn't paying attention. I don't think either of them got HUGE exposure though. Capcom is just a bit better at hitting the net for ads but neither really got TV time that I saw. There are too many big release days though, it just makes it harder to showcase everything.
Apparently Super SF4 and Red Dead Redemption are gonna be released the same day in April. In case you're wondering the significance, those are the two games that make me really want to buy a PS3. Yea for being overwhelmed!! ;D

I haven't seen anywhere that mentioned NMH2, but watching RAW last night (either that or it was ESPN), I kept seeing the Tatsunoko vs Capcom commercial.
Mass Effect 2 got a huge exposure, especially that long commerical that was like 2 minutes during the NFL Playoffs.

Ultimately, No More Heroes 2 is as niche as they get - while Capcom v. Tatsunoko is a fighting game, and thusly, an easier sell. "IT'S A FIGHTING GAME! FOR YOUR WII! WITH CARTOON CHARACTERS!"
I'm not sure how I'd structure an advertising campaign around an M-Rated Wii game, let alone an M-Rated Wii Game focused on jerking off a lightsaber to charge it's batteries. You'd really focus your advertising efforts on the internets, but even then, Mass Effect 2 is so dominant a title, everything else just kind of gets glossed over.

Hah, wow, apparently, some one from GameFAQs won a contest and their design for a NMH shirt was featured in NMH as a buyable shirt. I got NMH2 via UPS today, but I haven't had a chance to play it at all, yet. I've been on a major Mass Effect kick the last couple of days (mostly because, as it happens, I got ME2 from UPS on Tuesday), so I've been playing that a lot over everything else.

I just beat No More Heroes 2 and it was fun and all, but there were some parts of the game that made it feel a bit inferior to the first game. - No name of each assassin until they are killed What I liked from the first game was announcing each assassin's name before the ranking matches. This time around, you have no idea who they are until they are killed. - Each assassin isn't explored much - Most bosses were too easy - Regular enemies takes too long to kill - Camera was annoying at times - The dark step evade is now useless - Not enough Henry - Naomi's upgrades - Shinobu got pretty annoying by constantly yelling out "Moe" - A bit too much wandering around an empty area - The final boss - The ending There were some good things about it + Dual beam kantanas (they kick ass) + Unique boss fights + Unique bosses (you got the crazy school girl, the gothic lolita sniper, giant robot, football player, cheerleaders, poison lady etc) + Ending decapitations How great it felt after each boss fight the game signals you for the final blow + Kimmy Howell + Henry + Shinobu + World map shortcuts + The 8-bit mini games (except for the scorpion one) + Naomi's breasts I had a great time playing the game despite some of the downfalls. I can't really say which No More Heroes game was better, but I like both and it's definitely one of the best Wii games out there. DOWNWARD FUCKING DOG!!!!

Yea for being overwhelmed!! ;D I'm jacked for Red Dead Redemption, that's about it for this year so far though. NMH2 looks pretty tight, too. I don't get the appeal of Mass Effect, I tried it at a friend's place, he was really into it, but I thought it was pretty f--king boring. I wasn't a fan of KotOR either, so that might explain a thing or two. How can people line up for that crap when cool stuff like NMH2 and A Boy and His Blob (I tried that game at a friend's, too... It's a pretty cool experience! A great little game for the Wii that likely no one will even notice.) are out?

Hey, Geese. Um... You know that Red Dead Redemption and Super Street Fighter IV are coming out for the 360, too, right? Maybe that's what you should get, right?
