So, because I <3 the new Volkswagon "Unpimp my auto" commercials... here they are; Mike, and his tricked out 'Vette: youtube.com/watch?v=51vdQqv8WKMJason, and his '98 whachamacallit: youtube.com/watch?v=TDVxPaSyuV8Trey, and his riiiiiiide: youtube.com/watch?v=q9ZyXkllaMUThese commercials are just hilarious. From the expressions of the German dude, to the reactions of the newly un-pimped auto owners, plus hearing "Ve just dropped it like itz hooot" in a bad German accent... It's awesome. [bonus] A real messed-up, German VW commercial: youtube.com/watch?v=ePZzKt7kKjI[translation: Eyeglasses necessary? Their Optiker (which is the machine they use to determine your eyeglass prescription). I don't quite get what the hell it's supposed to mean, but...]

I saw one commercial yesterday and my first thought was: Shit, they're stealing my Mr. Figaro gimmick!! Well plus the German part Figaro even said "Drop it like its hot" and i wrote that earlier this week damnit! Seriously though, they are pretty funny commercials And yeah, somehow i doubt VW marketers are scouring internet e-feds to steal my ideas

Figaro's commentary during the Emergence:Evo show was roxoring.
And, no. These commercials have been on air for a few weeks now.

Haha, glad you liked the commentary I let him loose more then usual. I figure since i wanted to keep the commentary short, i should compensate by making him a bit more over the top. Plus, his commentary and Clyde's reactions are basically the things keeping me nly entertained as I write the shows Ahh, so the commercials have been around for a bit. I only caught one yesterday and found it deliciously absurd
