What makes it so bad is, Rampage only threw, like, five punches before Chuck connected with the mat.
Half-a-dozen punches unseated the "face of MMA". hah!

I love the description of CroCop/Gonzana; "Mirko finds out what he's been doing to people all these years."
Good stuff.

So yeah, I'm still waiting for the other shoe to drop on this whole Jackson winning the LHW title. How long do y'all think it will be before he's stripped of the title for failing a blood test of some sort? Whatever happens, he still KTFOed the toughest guy in the trailer park, AGAIN, so fuck it. ;D

Ooh, ooh, maybe the decision will be reversed since, cuz of the Memorial Day holiday and whatnot, the results weren't available until after the fight? Eh? Eh?

(Dana White: "He took too much Tylenol and hence didn't have the natural headache fighters usually have" ) Honestly every time I see a pic with Jackson and the belt, I get really happy ;D

Goldberg and Rogan were talking about it yesterday morning on the ESPN spot about the fight. Building up Hendo as being the only guy to ever hold 2 PRIDE titles simultaneously and stuff. I've read a few places Hendo came into the ring after the fight, and they were joking around, quote, "playing w/each other's belts" too. But I haven't actually seen the PPV, so that part could be totally off.

Yeah, Henderson was the big, post LHW title match announcement. I have a feeling that the Pride MW title and the UFC LHW title will be amalgamated with this fight. Henderson and Jackson have trained together in the past, and their styles will make for an interesting match. Both guys seem to have come out of some sort of hibernation, and both are on a roll these days, hopefully that role continues through to their match.
The signing of Mauricio Rua will add some heat to the division, providing he doesn't end up competing at HW. There could be a hype-machine around Shogun's DECIMATION of Rampage a couple of years back (Jackson got GOT...) in the Pride MW GP, which would further jostle the surely shell-shocked minds of new UFC fans (AKA TUF watchers) who watched their indestructible hero reduced to a heap of eye-gouging, white trash covering up part of the Xyence ad. I think once Shogun steps into the picture, all hell will break loose in the UFC MW division (ie. Long term domination by Shogun).
Rampage said some funny shit in the pre-fight stuff, and he seems to have reached an equilibrium between old, shit talkin' Rampage, and bible-puncher, too humble for his own good Rampage. He looked so friggin fit and ready. He had "the look" in his eyes before the fight again, too, something I haven't seen in most of his fights over the past three years. The comments about wanting Chuck in his prime, and not raggedy-ass, old Chuck hopped up on Pepto Bismol were great, as were the "I'm the Ice-Breaker" ones! The UFC, if they play their shit right, have two, potentially awesome flag-bearers for the LHW division. Rampage can talk, and fights crazy fights when he wants to, and Shogun is a fucking specimen, in the ring and out (female UFC fans are going to ruin their UFC thongs when they get a load of Shogun...). I dunno, hopefully Dana's ego stays clear for a while and shit unfolds well.
