So I turn on the ole TV a few minutes ago, start flipping through the channels and see... Curling. Olympic Curling. Olympic WOMEN's Curling. Olympic Women's JAPAN team Curling. As in... HIGH PITCHED ANIME VOICE CURLING. So I think of this thread and immediately record some footage  (10 mb video) rapidshare.de/files/13293917/CurlingOlympics06.wmv.htmlBest parts: Anime screaming and the announcers talking about "going harder" and "clogging up the hole" during the high pitched anime voices. Ha! Maybe I'll check this out on CBC right away (they said they'd have curling coverage. The announcer said it like someone in the studio was handing out free cars and eight-balls of cocaine.). I told you guys it's fucked! And yeah, if anyone gets off on this...

Yo, I'm diggin' the olympics this year. The Canadian Men's Hockey Team LOST TO SWITZERLAND 2 - 0 TODAY! This is fucking great (sorry, I'm a little excited)! This is what the olympics should be all about! I've always disliked the inclusion of pros in the olympics (started with basketball, then to hockey), they have that "I'm rich so if I win or lose, who cares" approach that everyone loves to see. Watching a LOADED Canadian team DOMINATED in every aspect of the game that they were supposed to win on paper was artfull! It's great to see a giant like that knocked down by a smaller team, it will do so much for the game in Europe! The Canadian press sounds like a major city (or maybe just Winnipeg) was wiped off of the map today! It's a national tragedy, and I love it!
