Yes, the PS2. Sorry; that's what all the "thugs" from the mean street of Columbus, OH called it.
Anyway, as far as Virtua Tennis vs Tennis vs Top Spin, I couldn't tell ya. The game didn't come around much, so I didn't get the opportunity to play it. You could always check out some reviews for it online, or ask those chuckleheads at GameFAQs about the differences.

I never actually played Virtua Tennis or Top Spin, but I played Tennis 2k2 on DC/PS2, and it was AWESOME.

Yo, is anyone here still watching any Puro? Does it still exist?...
I never see anyone discussing it here, and I'm too lazy to check FPC.
So, I guess I'm wondering if there's anything good going on that I'm missing out on. NJ? AJ? NOAH?
PS: Has anyone heard anything about Kobashi? Will he ever chop necks and/or chests or do awesome head-drops ever again? Thanks!

I dunno man, I kinda...i kinda just stopped watching wrestling. Other then Smackdown, the US scene kinda bores me. I know there's probably some great stuff going on in ROH but its expensive to follow. I've never really been caught up on the puro scene at all and usually just watch random puro matches on people's suggestions. Haven't seen one in a while though. I'd say that, at this point, 99% of my wrestling fandom is e-feds. And really, with the f'n QUALITY being put out by everyone, I'm quite happy with how my pro wres intake is going Haven't heard anything new about Kobashi btw, but I'm hoping he can get back in the ring if he feels up to it. All reports i had heard in the past pointed to him making a good recovery

Will he ever chop necks and/or chests or do awesome head-drops ever again? Thanks! Nothing's really jumped out at me this year - KENSKAY got felled with an orbital bone injury early, but Katsuhiko Nakajima (KENSKAY's adopted son) has had a pretty hot 2006... AJPW has had quite the year with Minoru Suzuki winning the Triple Crown and just being a plain dick - so, he'll be over with the Dump something fierce. NJPW picked up FAWKING MILANO COLLECTION A.T. but still has Tenzan and Chono teaming a billionty times a year only to break up every single time. I'm not sure if that's good. Also, A-Train v. Yuji Nagata is my MOTY from them. For fucking serious. NOAH went into kinda panic-mode with Kobashi's cancer - it was planned that Akiyama would eventually have a HUGE DEFENSE against Kobashi, but with that out, Akiyama lost to Naomichi Marufuji - Marufuji and KENTA had a couple of hot matches in 2006, but they obviously don't stand compared to anything from the days of the Four Corners of Heaven. (Honestly though, what does? Okay, sex. But nothing else.) Dragon Gate went kinda disappointing this year, and Z1-Max stayed obscure as hell, but Masato Tanaka did pretty well for himself. As for Kobashi, last I read he was training for a return at an unspecified date.

Thanks, dude!
And by "training for a return", you mean giving burning hammers, half nelson suplexes, and diamondbacks to Kodiak bears in Alaska, right? ;D

Dragon Gate really pissed me off this year. Between the loss of monthly PPV's to the influx of ROH guys it's been a lack luster year all around. Honestly All Japan is where it's at right now with New Japan at a close second. The Sleeper Award would have to go to Big Japan with some crazy matches between Sasaki (the non KENSKAY version) and Numazawa. PS: Joe I'm thinking of selling my Milano figure.

what do you guys do to see big japan? Beat small children. Really, though: some tape dealers do TV block sets, and the usual streaming video sites are worth checking out.

All puro related content I watch comes from JB (not our beloved JB) at PuroDVDSource.com.
