With TNA, PRIDE, and WWE threads, it was only a matter of time. Despite the RoH bias here, it's still pro wrestling, and this is the pro wrestling board. yaylogic.
Anyway.
May 12th, NWA World Heavyweight Champion Christian Cage comes to Ring of Honor. His opponent? ROH World Champion Bryan Danielson. It's World Champion vs World Champion, as Cage and Danielson.
They made this a tag match, though, and neither competitor's partner has been announced. Who's taking bets on it being a TNA vs RoH match, with the NWA World Heavyweight Champion and the TNA X-Division Champion going up against the RoH World and Pure Champion?

If they do that though, then it'll automatically be some CZWference non-finish. If they book it, I predict Hero takes an Unprettier.
*SPOILER*
Also, as I was typing this, I remembered that Joe wins the X-Title back tommorrow night on Thursday iMPACT, so with his standing in the RoH/CZW feud, that would be even more interesting.

...I will allow this sin against professional wrestling to continue; as even King Fedor needs Zuluzinho to splatter once in a while.

Ok, they've finally done it. RoH has made me want to buy a DVD. I'll not bother going into details, but it'll be of their 100th show, that took place last night.
Super Dragon shoot monkey flipping a fan = my $20.

Guys. Hey, you guys. Seriously, you guys. RoH on PPV. July 1st. And, cuz of this announcement, TNA has pulled all re ning contracted talent (Homicide and Austin Aries) from RoH, and also pulled all their guys from PWG (Shelley, Styles, Daniels, Sabin, Kazarian, and a few others). Ain't it awesome to see TNA getting penis envy?

I've always been interested in seeing some RoH, but never have... I'd prolly buy some of their DVDs, but hell, I wouldn't know what to buy, anyway. @_@

TNA has been jealous of ROH since the start. We've seen numerous reports about it. And while I know TNA has the right to pull their contracted talent, I think pulling them from the NON-PPV shows is a dick move when they've ALREADY LET THEM BE ON THE DVD'S FOR YEARS. Totally reeks of fear and jealousy to me more then it does of managing their own interests. I'd love to see ROH beat TNA in PPV ratings. ROH may be for net wankers (and hey, i wear that title proudly) but the fact is that when TNA was screaming about being all about "non stop action" and professional wrestling, ROH has actually been providing it for years. Its foolish to compare WWE to ROH cause WWE doesn't even try to proclaim they are pure wrestling. (and still manages to put on better matches then TNA lately anyway and possibly even ROH.). But TNA tries to get the ROH demographic but often fails cause they just simply lie to us with the shit they say they are going to provide. THen when TNA doesn't get the demographic (or gets them hostile to them) they get all jealous of ROH as the "internet darling". Well if TNA just changed their name to WCW part deux then we wouldn't have those expectations any more. It's TNA's own fault for shoveling up loads of crap and being immature with talent (Samoa Joe, Aries) for years now. Should be an interesting little war though between the two feds. I enjoy ROH but haven't watched in a while really. Following them gets expensive and i still haven't watched all the DVD's i have bought from them! I'm not really sure the PPV deal will appeal to me just cause the value isn't there. Seems like the PPV cost will be similar to the DVD cost. And while that the case for something like WM, at least WM is live and then feeds into Raw the next night. Whereas the ROH PPV won't be live and you can get the DVD eventually anyway. So I think they'll have to find a way to give people a real incentive to buy the PPV.
