They're still trying to make the character the most compelling part about him, though. They're just failing really, really horribly, and I honestly do think it's Kurt Angle's fault.
Oh, no. Not that Kurt Angle is a bad wrestler, or a bad character, just the fact that JOHN CENA AND KURT ANGLE FOUGHT FOR SIX GODDAMNED MONTHS AND CENA MAGICALLY BECAME UNSTOPPABLE AND COULD SUDDENLY DO AN STF SO FUCKING GOOD THAT NOBODY COULD WITHSTAND IT!

Why and why? From Live Audio Wrestling, " *The WWE announced that they have re-sgined Chuck Palumbo to a contract. Palumbo has been working in All Japan primarily since he was let go in 2004 and recently was doing some dates with CMLL in Mexico. There is an interview with Palumbo on WWE.com.
*Shannon Moore has signed with the WWE. He was working without a contract and WWE saw a chance to embarass TNA. I could see them rushing Moore to TV tonight just to thumb their noses that they got one of TNA's guys, who appeared at the PPV Sunday night." Any bets on how soon they'll be canned again? Completely honest here - I liked Chuck Palumbo. The "Custom Chucky P" character was teh LAME, and it felt like they snapped the FBI apart back when it was actually having fun matches and not sucking - and, dare I remember correctly, getting quite the face reaction, too. As for Shannon Moore? This just REEKS of TNA thumbing their nose at the WWE after realizing "Hey. This guy isn't that good..." But, hey, if the WWE finally sees a reason to have Shannon Moore, go for it. He isn't BAD, but he didn't quite fit the X-Division as much as they'd have liked, I think.

There's a REASON Shannon Moore never got over... and it's never been about booking. He's just nothing special. He's never been pushed because he's never given anyway a reason to. I honestly think the only reason he got the play he did in TNA is because they love to sign anyone the WWE releases and give them a push.

Pretty makeup and hair work for the diva to get pushes, why isn't that enough for Shannon Moore? Maybe he can start dancing again and the WWE can bring in Tank Abbott as his number one fan, and if anyone screws with Moore, Tank will sweat all over them.

As long as Tank doesn't start throwing his panties at people, I don't see why that would be a problem.

This is...odd... I was switching channels and...Smackdown is on. I thought it was off the air here. It wasn't on for the last 2-3 weeks but now its on. Kinda cool For some reason Charmell is wearing a mosquito net on her entire head. Oh well, with all of Smackdown's faults, its still clearly the better brand now. So im glad i can go back to attempting to remember to watch it

THIS ISN'T HALLOWEEN, HALLOWEEN! Go back to where you came from, the 15th layer of hell, AKA the Hell of Bad Wrestling Gimmicks... LA LA LA! So, anyone going to check out "Saturday Night's n Event" tonight? I might have it on in the background just for nostalgia's sake. Who's on the card, anyway?

So, anyone going to check out "Saturday Night's n Event" tonight? I might have it on in the background just for nostalgia's sake. Who's on the card, anyway? I intend to watch it... So far, all I know for the card is: Stone Cold v. JBL - Beer Drinking Contest Kurt Angle/Rey Mysterio/Randy Orton v. John Cena/HHH Quick check of the intrawebnet says... ...very little. This isn't a good sign... this is supposed to be an EVENT, but instead, it seems to be just treated as "RAW on NBC" - I'll watch, but I am cautiously optimistic.

Kurt Angle/Rey Mysterio/Randy Orton v. John Cena/HHH
Wasn't this done on Smackdown Thursday night? Are they just re-airing SD between drinking contest bits?

The match on SmackDOWN! was Team SmackDOWN! vs MNM and The World's Hungriest Man, Mark Henry.
On a sidenote, Randy Ortan would make a very good mid-level manager; he let Angle and Rey beat the hell out of MNM and Henry, and then tossed everyone aside to pin Mercury (or Nitro, whoever), therefore taking the credit for the entire match.
Anyway, Shane O'Mac vs Shawn Michaels in a Street Fight. Trish Stratus and Mickie James in a heel turn segment tag match against Victoria and Candice Michelle, and The Booker-man vs The Boogeyman.

I hope George "The Animal" Steele comes out and eats a turnbuckle, and Jesse "The Body" Ventura does colour just like the good ol' days! I think as a primer for new fans, WWE should play the LAST episode of SNME ever played from back in the day.
World's Hungriest Man = GOLD! ;D

I think the return of SNM (a long favorite of OG) definitely gains enough "nostalgia points" to have on in the background Whether I actively watch it depends on if it's decent...which, is debatable. Smackdown was pretty good last night. And I'll agree with Moto that Orton would make a good manager. He was actually spot on with his heeldom last night during that match. The thing was, he wasn't playing a wrestler heel, he was playing a manager heel. Maybe that could be his real calling?

I concur! To OVW with Orton for manager/valet training!
I used to LOVE SNM (no "E" this time!) way back when! It was a blast to stay up for and check out! I remember marking out BIG TIME when the Bulldogs would hit the ring! Ahh, memories of a Goldish age...
