Yeah, everybody hates the DM call. Mostly because it makes us look like jerks if we did what we were supposed to, and the DM goes over our heads just to make some shitfucker happy. And the shitfucker usually embellishes a lot, too. But, in your case, the guy was being a lying dick, so go for the jugular. Suckas gotta know.

Kirby Squeak Squad is totally awesome. The only disappointment that I have with it, so far, is that the ability combining feature isn't quite as neat as it was in Kirby 64; you basically just put them together and get a (seemingly) random item, whereas in Kirby 64, you could make a new item out of two skill types, or double-up on a skill type. So, two sword-type skills would give you a double-bladed not-lightsaber. So, it'd have been nice to see that back.
One thing that I find funny is that you can only keep five items in Kirby's stomach at a time, when Kirby has often been described as a bottomless pit. Heck, the default background for his stomach is a giant field of stars, so...
It's fun as heck, though. And there are some great new powers. The Ninja ability is back, and totally awesome, with clinging to the walls, throwing shriukens and stuff. The Fighter ability is totally great, with all sorts of new attacks and even a Kirby fireball. My favorite so far is the Magic ability, though. Kirby has this big-ass top hat, and can take it off to take doves out to attack enemies, throw cards, all sorts of neat stuff. When he starts tumbling down a hill, the big hat'll even damage enemies. It's cute as hell, too. ^_^

A winner is ME!
HAHA! Take that zit-faced prick! I went to pick up my game today, and the dude that always seems to start a conversation with me (aka the store manager) helped me out at the till. I told him I was there to pick up my PoR pre-order, and he started gushing about how great the game was and how swank the bonus pack was. With a sound of astonishment in my voice, I asked him if he got his pack from the Konami rep, and then proceeded to regurgitate the bullshit story I was fed the night before about the "last minute" scrapping of the offer. The look of disgust in his eyes was fantastic, and of course I repeated it loud enough for the other two clowns working to hear. Mr. Manager let me know that there would be a staff meeting very soon and that my complaint would be addressed.
On to the good stuff, the art book is pretty cool! I'm diggin the CD, especially the into music track from Circle of the Moon. I'll likely stash this pack next to the ring-bell key-chain and book full of Japanese text about FPW and forget all about it. ;D
I can't wait to bust into the game! I started playing Dawn of Sorrow a while back, and I friggin' love it!
Who loves us? Konami. Hell, Konami even loves Slime, that rascally lil' biggot! I've read that the new MGS PSP game is supposed to be the cat's ass. Hopefully Slime will pick it up and review it for us!

Oh no. Another adorable puzzler... I swear the DS makes one adorable puzzler for every rehashed EA Sports title released on consoles (a good thing for DS fans, especially puzzle fans.).

Hopefully Slime will pick it up and review it for us! I already picked up Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops. Same day as Castlevania: Portrait of Ruins, but why should I review it for you guys? You guys hate the Slime and PSP.

We <3 the Slime...
Review now, PSP boy!
OG, the CD is awesome, and the art book kicks some serious ass. Nice little bonus for fans of the series (and you can never have too much SotN art!). I had a good laugh at the box art from the N64 games, then I thanked the Konami gods for having the sense to bring the game back to 2-D!

Well, they could do it like that one (so far, Japan-only) DQ DS game, Dragon Quest: Joker, or something like that? That one looked very similar to the DQ8 look, in the few screens I saw of it.

Dragon Quest Heroes: Joker is suppose to be monster capture/breeding like Dragon Warrior Monsters for the Gameboy Color. ...or you can just compare it to Pokemon.
