When the Game Boy Pockets came out, I had one of the nifty neon green ones that were exclusive to, like, Toys R Us. It died on me, and Nintendo sent a UPS lady (or... was it FedEx? I forget) to pick it up, and sent it back to me like new. Nintendo's always been gg for customer service.
Kinda like Apple... hm.

Probably a stupid/obvious question here,
But is the DS and DS Lite region free?
I kinda remember hearing that it is but my mind is a jumble now of various facts and figures...some that have no bearing on actual reality, others that have already destroyed alternate universes...

Yep. Totally region free. PSP is region free, too, aside from UMD movies. But, then again, if you want pr0n on your PSP, they don't make it here anyway.  |

Cool, thanks for the info  I've been getting an increased drive to get the DS. I wanted one badly earlier in the summer but then I got distracted a bit by other things. (  nly Fire Pro, LOL). But in the last week or so, the DS itch has been reestablished and I need some lotion...I mean I might need to get a DS to satisfy that itch! And knowing its region free makes me happy So I'll add one more point to the "BUY IT ALREADY, IT RULES!" column |

WOW! Those two are awesome!! Navy and Ice Blue: KENTA! ARMY LOVES YOU TOO! I'd probably just cop out and get the onyx though seeing as how all of my portable electronics are either black or silver for some odd reason...well not that odd, since i like those colors Also, until Nintendo gets "OrochiGeese black and gold," i'm holding a not so silent protest ;D |

Yanno what I'd rather enjoy? A Legend of Zelda special edition gold DS lite. But, the only way I'd buy it is if the plastic molding on the top, where the little "two screens" DS logo is were instead a triforce.

I think for the FF III edition DS, they just put some monochrome portraits of a couple character classes under the glossy plastic. In fact, that's exactly what they did. |

When am I going to get a goddamned FF TACTICS title for the DS? And not the fucking wonder kids, super-friends nonsense used in FFT Advance, either! Where's the TACTICS love? Tactics Ogre wouldn't br a bad thing for the DS, either (Or Ogre Battle for that matter...)! FF lost my interest at IX (and partially at VIII), but I am a little jazzed about the release of III on the DS. How about a limited edition DS Lite in black with a fucking bomb-ass Tonberry on the cover?!?!  |
