I don't even care about Xenosaga. But since its filled with cinematic scenes to, I guess move the story along like Metal Gear Solid ( I love Metal Gear Solid) I guess I could look into the game. I guess. There's moving the story along, and then there's Xenosaga. Seriously. Why the fuck was it even playable? Just one long cut scene strung together to another long cutscene. The RPG standards of levelling up and buying equipment is second to, you know, MORE CUTSCENES. Getting two games for nearly $30 is good, but I hate both Xenosaga games with a fiery burning passion. That said, the character designs and artwork for both games are nice. Now that you put it that way... I dunno. Why do I get manipulated so easily?

Because you're an easily-led automaton, far too happy to be lead around by your nose by others than to make decisions by yourself, stopping you from truly achieving anything for fear of stepping out of the crowd. That, or cuz you just don't know what you're doing.

That, or cuz you just don't know what you're doing. I guess you're right on both parts.

So, out of the four Nintendo DS games I bought when I got my DS lite, I've beaten the hell out of three of them, and am currently facing the last boss in the fourth.
WarioWare: Touched!: Good game. Very fun, very manic. If you like the series already, this one will roxors your boxors, and possibly even your soxors. It seems like they could've stuffed a few more minigames in there, and it's really time-consuming to get 100% on the game, since you have to unlock and then beat each minigame to a certian level.
Metroid: Hunters: First off, I refuse to call this game "Metroid Prime: Hunters". The reasons basically boil down to, it's not MegaMan and MegaMan X, they're all the same. Stop trying to divide the series based on graphical style, Nintendo. ANYWAY! Though not much of a Metroid game, Hunters is a very fun romp in the boots of Samus Aran (and, really, who here wouldn't want to romp Samus' boots?) and a very good first-person shooter, too. Stripping away most of the adventure elements in a Metroid game is just inviting disaster, though, and it doesn't help the game all that much to have a lot of Metroid-series signatures be removed for the ease of the game. Earlier first-person Metroid games (Prime and Echoes) still had full-bore worlds for Samus to explore, complete with all sorts of hidden areas and unique tricks that the series has had for years, but that's all gone in Hunters. It's very stream-lined, and comes off as something of a mindless generic shooter, which is hardly something that is befitting the Metroid name.
New Super Mario Bros.: Wow. This game is fun as hell. It's difficult, at times, like a Mario game should be (are you hearing this, Super Mario Sunshine?) and has a lot neat things that really fit a Mario game. There's a bit of transition to deal with if you're used to past Mario games, like how the triple jump is a lot more difficult to do, and requires a lot more ground clearance. The blue shell is quite fun, too, and is a very sweet power to have. The game also look reeeeeeally good, and still managed to look like a Mario game, retaining the feel of the series the whole way through.
Kirby: Canvas Curse: This is the one I'm fighting the last boss on right now, and she's a bitch. Anyway. This was the first game to show off what could be done with the touch screen, and might still be the standard-bearer for it. It's quick, it's cute, and it's challenging; everything a Kirby game should be. The levels all take considerable skill to navigate, and the boss matches are all unique and inventive. There are a lot of challenges in the game, and getting 100% complete may end up being very taxing to one's sanity - and their DS.
On a scale of 0-10, where 0 is "So bad that I'm surprised my system didn't melt trying to play it", and 10 is "Completely pure and unadulterated gaming bliss", the following games recieve... WarioWare: Touched!: 8/10 Metroid: Hunters: 6/10 New Super Mario Bros.: 9/10 Kirby: Canvas Curse: 8/10

I like the description of the video. "I didn't like him before but now I despise him." Man, some people need to get over it.
