Basically, both brands of the WWE are gettin' pretty shitty. On RAW, the only thing worth watching - not that it's a surprise - is Chris Jericho. And, even that's getting tired, since he's having to carry Cena's ass through promos and matches. Might not be so bad if they'd let Cena wrestle to his ability.
And on SmackDOWN!... Well, there's still JBL. And this whole Hassan brouhaha. Sure, Benoit and Regal are on there, but Benoit is jobbing to Buh-weet and Regal is having nachos thrown on him. Not exactly the height of their careers.
So, what I say we do is, watch 'till the show following SummerSlam. If it's still the same unwatchable dreck... we just stop watching it. I'm pretty much there already, since I give it about half my attention during the bulk of the show, and really only pay attention if something INTERESTING AND WORTH WATCHING is on. Which is pretty rare these days.

Post-whoring on MY message board? BAD, moto! BAD!
...but seriously. If you like wrestling, don't even waste your fucking time watching the WWE, go tape hunting.
I hold that this years Diva Search HAS been more watchable than last years: Reason being, through SECRET INSIDE SOURCES, I have found out that the big $250,000 contract we've been bitching about is really only paid out at like, $1,000 a year. SO! In the year 2743, look out for the floating disembodied head of Christy Hemme to pose NAKED in Playboy! Oooh, look how she wears that seductive necklace, yeah, baby!
As for WRESTLING... TNA has an intrawebnet show - if you can, watch that.
If you don't mind spending money (which, I've noticed, a lot of people who complain about the crappy WWE product DO have a problem with), then go find some All Japan from the late 80's-early 90's... the New Japan juniors from the 90's... Toryumon/T2P/Dragon (Door/Gate/Escalator) is a fan favorite... NOAH has decent big shows once you get past the meaningless six wrestler tags.
For WWE style, the closest you'll get outside of the WWE is probably current All Japan, where cast-offs Johnny Stamboli, Chuck Palumbo, Jamal, and A-Train (now Giant Bernard) have had success in the Voodoo Murderers and RO&D stables.
Besides, you fold faster than Superman on laundry day when it comes to your "No WWE strikes."

I do watch the TNA webshows, and if anyone ever visited STEVE's fourms, y'd know that. :b
This year's Diva Search might play out like that, but Christy's getting that quarter mil over four years.
I do have a problem sepnding money on stuff cuz, well, I just don't have money to spend on stuff. I really do want to start trying to watch some better wrestling, but this particular poor white boy doesn't have to dough for it. Yet. If this Mississippi thing pans out, I'm sure I'll have some cash to spend on a couple AJPW tapes/DVD's. Highspots'll be able to see me coming a mile away. Or... whatever the internet equivilant to a mile is.
Yeah. But, I haven't been this bored and cheesed off and just overall tired of the product. For the past couple months, I think that the only reason I've been watching it still is because my DVR box is set to automatically record it, so it comes on and is in the background, and I'll turn to watch it if something sounds interesting. I've been changing the channel a lot recently during segments, which is something I never used to do.

Summerslam challenge is an attractive notion... Its sad though...so much talent still re ns in WWE: Angle, Jericho, Benoit, Regal, Tajiri, Guerreros, Rey, etc...And yet...things are sucking faster then Superman on lau...oh wait, analogy already used I feel like WWE is getting unwatchable and i hope that TNA does well when it gets on Spike. Im also looking forward to the Ultimate Fighter returning. Yeah, theres a lot of silly drama, but as the season goes on its like one fight per show, and thats pretty cool These days, id rather spend my WWE time on our own little e-fed world anyway P.S. Exactly WHAT type of necklace is Christie wearing again?!

'kay. Apparently, WWE told the Cruiserweights to "tone down" their style.
Even more.
So, apparently, London is banned from using the 450° Splash (which Juvi started using and immediately injured London with), and the London Calling. So, WWE is dead to me now. Whatever.

Yo. I ordered Sacrifice. Best PPV I've seen since WrestleMania XIX. And that was only good because Jericho/HBK and Lesnar/Angle. n_n

I ordered the replay of Sacrifice. The Re-Sacrificing! (not official name). I thought the card was ok but the two matches that stood out were: AJ Styles vs. Samoa Joe: FIRST time i saw a full Samoe Joe match. I can say now: I'm a believer JOE! JOE! JOE! JOE! Freaking AWESOME match and it showed both of their skills. Very impressive. Daniels vs. Aries: Good match but it felt really short. Flowed very well but i feel both didnt show all they could do due to time constraints. But stll enjoyable. And yeah, Lynn vs. Xpac was cool too. So yeah, overall pretty good PPV. Styles vs. Joe MADE the whole show more then worth ordering though. That match is worthy of having on DVD
