Often it turns out to be either original Super Mario World or Marvel Super Heroes vs. Street Fighter, an old favorite and staple of just pure gaming FUN for me Crazyness! I just picked up Super Mario Advance 2 (Super Mario World... I think?) yesterday! between that and Alpha (specifically Alpha 2 Gold. Man, Alpha 2 was the shit! I remember trading my PS copy in by accident back in the day. Good times! It's BACK! But now, I SUCK!), I'm having a good time with vids again! Leave it to Mario in a cape and haddokens to get Dumpers playing vids again! ;D

I have much respect for Mario 3, Yoshi's Island, and other side scrollers (Mega Man especially) but SMW is a personal favorite of mine. Control is so tight and the boards are so fun And while I don't play fighting games as much as I used to, I think they are basically hard-wired in my brain and hand motions due to all the time I used to spend playing them. I'd say from 1991 until 2002, fighting games were my primary game type. (2002 = year I found FPD). And basically all the time I spend now with FPR and e-feds I used to spend playing fighting games. So whenever I'm stressed, I can just go through Alpha 2/3 or MSH vs. SF and have fun I consider it physical and mental therapy ;D

Brutal. It was the shittiest feeling, too! I was at home thinking "Hmm, I need to whup some ass in SFA 2". I went to play, and I was thinking "where the hell did I put that bitch?". I looked all over the place for it, then it hit me... I did the same thing with Tactics Ogre for the PS, as well. I was pissed off at it, and hadn't played it for a while, but I didn't intend to sell it off. It must have gotten stuck in with a mess of other shit, and now it's gone.

The only fighting game I ever sold was Mortal Kombat 4. The game where the best part featured Quan Chi's fatality of ripping a guy's leg off and beating him to death with it. As great as that TRULY was (and it actually was quite amusing), nothing else in the game was passable My biggest bonehead move involving sell/trading games was back in elementary school when I traded my Blaster Master for a neighbor's Skate or Die 2. Wow was that ever stupid, especially since I was on the track to beating Blaster Master (a game I loved then). I still don't know what I was thinking when I made the trade and years later can truly say that was THE stupidest thing I've probably ever done in my life!

Well, if that's the stupidest thing you've done in your life, I'm honoured to know someone who will soon be canonized, but was capable of releasing an abomination like Sleepy from the darkest reaches of deranged human consciousness.

Yeah, that was definitely the stupidest thing I've done, by far. Goose was just the most twisted and sick ;D

You lost Tactics Ogre? This would upset me beyond repair.

I am the KING of stupid trades: I traded Earthbound for Bust a Groove 2. Wow...that's...that's pretty bad too :o Were you in the middle of playing it as well? Why the heck would I get rid of a game when my friends and I had been steadily going through it and REALLY enjoying it!? I can't even think of a reason! :-[

You lost Tactics Ogre? This would upset me beyond repair. Yeah, I wasn't a happy camper, especially when I went back to the game store I accidentally took it to and saw them selling it for $75.00. I'd only just made my shitty wizard into a Lich, too.

That's the awesomest cake. Only way it could be awesomer is if it's chocolate.
