Sorry to start a new thread, but there really isn't anything for shit other than WWE, TNA, and, uh, that's it.
That said, I had a very strange but awesome experience today. Yesterday, I wrote the last exam of my university tour of duty. I decided to head to the cemetery where my grandparents are buried to pay my respects, and, in a way, thank them for always encouraging me to keep studying and learning. I took some flowers and three cups of coffee, (and an airplane bottle of cognac for my grandfather) and headed for the cemetery. I usually stop and pay my respects to other family members and friends buried there when I visit, too, and I always have a hard time finding one particular family friend there, so I thought I'd landmark the plot for future visits.
I picked a couple of trees I normally park near, and then I noticed a brand new, sturdy, black marble bench / monument near one of the trees, and the name seemed oddly familiar, but not because it was family, but because it was identical to one of my all time favorite wrestlers.
Allen "Bad News" Coage, aka Bad News Allen/Brown has a monument only a few plots from my grandparents! It was one of the oddest and most random, but coolest finds I've ever made! His picture is on it, and there's some pretty cool stuff carved into it, too! It was odd since my grandfather used to get pissed off when I'd cheer for Bad News when he was kicking the shit out of Bret Hart, and now his ugly mug is only a few feet away from his final resting place! Oddly, it's in the Slavic section of the cemetery, too!
As soon as I get my camera shit set up, I'll take some pics and post them. Oddest thing ever, a dude who fought Sakuraba, Takada, a gang of NJPW guys, the entire Stampede wrestling roster, spent time in the WWF, and was a US Olympic judo team member has a monument in a cemetery in my city, next to two of my favorite people of all time! That shit made my day! ;D
Bad News versus that beer-bellied sharecropper, the walking chin!
