Any of you guys have e-pinions on the new Mario Sluggers baseball game?
I saw a preview of it on the Wii Channel and was kinda impressed. It reminded me a LOT of the old Super Baseball Simulator 1.000 on SNES - one of my favorite sports games, and games, ever. I used to spend hours with that game making new players.
It looks like you can use your Miis in Sluggers too. And the game looked like it had a lot of fun mechanics. I know it's multiplayer but am not sure about online.

I'm looking into it due to my recent interest in baseball, but I don't think it has online.

I have to check the video again but I don't recall it mentioning online cause I remember WANTING them to do so and feeling unfulfilled when they didn't. And I'd imagine they'd make a big deal about it if they had online. Kinda sucks if/that they don't as a Dump league with "hey batter batter" taunting would be amusing.

My Wii system memory is just about full and so I think I need an SD card to transfer some stuff off. Can anyone recommend a good card? Anyone use this one and have any comments?

Don't bother getting the Wii SD Card, any other 2GB SD card will do and is cheaper.

So, some guys decided to kill some time by texture hacking Super Smash Bros. BRAWL. You can see some of the results (including Metroid Prime, black and white Yoshis, Rosalina, Fierce Deity Link and Fierce Deity Toon Link, Dry Bones Bowser, Shadow, meat factory R.O.B., and Phoenix Wright) here. Some pretty spiffy stuff.

Virtual console delivers something other than eight bit garbage this week!
Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars
Also, there's a Wii Ware virtual fish tank or something along those lines.

I made my first VC purchase today, with SMRPG! I'm so happy, since I loved that game so much, but never finished it when I was younger. Only problem is, I don't have a Classic Controller, or a GCN controller, so I can't play it... :/

Yeah, even though I never actually beat it, I still have vivid memories about the game, that's how much it stuck with me. I always said one day I'd go back and finish it, but I never wanted to invest in an old NES, and I tried messing around with ROMs/ emulators but it was kinda buggy... I've been hoping it'd come to the VC, or get some kind of remake on the DS, or something. God, I wish I had a classic controller! >_< I'm also gonna need it for the other VC games I want, like Super Metroid, Link to the Past, Paper Mario... So, I'm gonna have to get one sooner or later.
