So, I think I know why my Peach's Toad block move didn't work. I was leafing through the strategy guide at work, and it seems that Toad has to be visible for at least one second before he'll be of any use.

F__k Peach, yo. Toad needed to be in this game, and he should have been the one blocking incendiary projectiles with HER skanky, "I'm not giving Mario any, no matter how many times he saves me" ass! ;D PS: Since you guys missed KK the other night, I sent all of you a pic of him rockin' out in Smashville! Well, those of you who aren't still "Awaiting Registration" that is.  |

Yet, it finally answers why moto ATE IKE DEATH at my hands.
Because he was too slow on the draw.
That said, he's had much more practice now, and I'm still hunting down the USB/ethernet cable adapter so I may fight him on even keel - that is, without warp lag.

I've been on an FPR kick recently so I haven't done any Wii'ing but hopefully tonight I'll get back in form. As for Toad, he would have been a good character. I kinda wanted regular Koopa Troopa too, as he's my favorite character in Super Mario Kart. Apparently both of them can RACE but they can't fight  |

Hmm, I think a bunch of them should get together, and form one SUPER MARIO SUPER JOBBER symbiont, kinda like VOLTRON, only with mushrooms and turtles! I'd like to see Ike and Meta Knight try to handle that!

There really really should have been a giant Boo Brother as a character  He could "possess" the opponents and cause them to attack each other and stuff. |

Boo would be a cool addition. There's so much potential there for cool moves!
I'll have to give Sonic a shot tonight, I unlocked him LATE last night after a day of studying and a subsequent 20 year old port sampling session with a buddy of mine who just had to share... I wonder if I even really unlocked Sonic or not? Maybe we were playing Genesis or something... ;D

LOL,
It's pretty spot on too. He doesn't hammer the game but points out the positives and negatives pretty accurately. I love his skewering of the "bad games" of that genre too ;D

I totally missed out on Monkey Island and Grim Fandango. I remember really wanting to try Grim Fandango, but I really didn't have a PC until about seven or eight years ago.  |

I feel bad about Grim cause by the time it came out, I kinda stopped playing those graphic adventure games just due to not wanting to commit the time. But Monkey Island is my favorite game series and 1-3 rank up pretty close to my favorite game (just shy of FFVI). MI 1 especially was just awesome storytelling and hilarity  I didn't get to give 4 the full run though for the same reasons that I neglected Grim. And the little I did play of it, while fun, didn't quite draw me in as much as the first three. The first one is worth trying |
