Bunk.
Besides Super Dodge Ball, I can't really think of any other old console stuff I'd want to play on the Virtual Console. All of the good Mario games are on the GBA, maybe Super Metroid, and finally, Earthbound, but other than that, what is (was) there? Same thing goes for the Genesis, well maybe Road Rash and Mutant Leauge Football/Hockey or some shit.

Wacky thought here.
Since our Wii's have no Mario Golf to fill them, or Smash Brothers to make us abuse our loved ones using obscure Nintendo characters...
What about a Wii Bowling League?
I mean, I keep playing it and its like real bowling except we've already plunked down the cash for it - the pin setter won't fuck up our bowling balls - and its JUST LIKE REAL ZOMG.
It doesn't have to be elaborate. Just a reason to pull out those Wiimotes and waggle to our hearts content while providing us healthy competition to prove our superiority.
Am I the only person dorky enough to think that'd be fun?

No, that would be cool! All you have to do is go online, and we can play that bitch against each other? I didn't even know it was online multiplayer and all of that jazz. Nice.

If only. He may mean, that we'll play a set on X day, and then post scores of that set up, all frame-by-frame-like.

Oh, that's cool too. well, I may as well post my typical 146 right now then. I got that shitty star ball a while back, I don't see the difference other than the pattern. I like using the gold ball the best, it takes the sting away from constantly leaving bed-posts after every throw.

Eh, well, Zelda is great, and I hear Super Paper Mario is good, too (I still haven't picked it up... >_<). I know everyone is saying SM3 (the game) is pretty bad, though, and I haven't listened to anything about Cooking Mama.

I traded in a bunch of old crap and picked up Super Paper Mario. I think the game is friggin' brilliant. Really cool use of 2-D/3-D platforming aspects (ever been sick of the obligatory, Mario game rotating fire arm obstacle? Just flip into 3-D mode and walk past it! ;D), and the Wiimote. Sometimes it floors me how Nintendo can flawlessly integrate what would otherwise seem like a gimmick into a useful, highly intuitive control scheme. It takes nothing to learn the controls, and all aspects of the controls are equally useful. The game has a really cool visual style, and it's a shitload of fun to play!
So yeah, there's dick all to play right now for the Wii (save for two of the games included with that bundle and Wii Sports), so if that's enough to satisfy your gaming appetite for now, I say go for it (none of the games are really system sellers, especially since you can pick up Zelda for the GCN, but the Wii is a bit of alright as it is right now.), but if the offerings lul you into a bordom induced coma like a Goose-spiked cocktail, fuck it for now, stick to what you have. Besides, who wants to pay for a shitty Spiderman game?

Web-swinging in Spider-Man 3 on Wii is fun. But that's it.

Everything is ass for the Wii so far, save for Super Paper Mario, Zelda, Trauma Centre, and Wii Sports. Wario Ware was fun, but it's friggin' short! Hurry up with the SSB:B already! I'll have to try Cooking Mama sometime soon, too.
Any word on a possible VC version of Super Dodge Ball?
